“Yes! They are really different kind of dogs. One is my service dog named Courage, and the other one which is a old dog… named Duke. We adopted him before during the time we took care of them!”

“Being a wallflower can be fun if you want it to be! You can listen in on people’s conversations. If you like being nosey.” Margot joked. She shook her head truthfully. “No, I’m not uncomfortable. And I’d love to meet your dogs someday.”

“I haven’t even thought of a name! I don’t want to name him yet and get attached.”

“Well yeah!” she nodded her head slowly. “Does that thing actually have a different meaning??? Cause I really do mean the actual drinking of tea and with some tea ceremony involving it.”

“My mom used to take me out to have tea with her when I was younger. Like, proper tea with little foods and everything. I really liked it.”

Florenz shrugged. He couldn’t expect them all to have the same outlook as him. “Fair enough, I guess someone has to like it here.”

when all of his students has left for the day emerson had found a phone when he was tidying up the classroom and left it on his desk. kids these days were obsessed with their phones so he knew that one of them would be back for it. “you mean this phone.” he stated as he grabbed the phone and held it up for her to see.”

Margot breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her phone in his hands. “Yes! Wow thank you, I’ve been looking for it for so long.”

What do you love most about music?

The fact that there is so many different kinds of music. You can make your own genre of music if you wanted to. 

Also it’s a part of everything we do. Music goes with everything

it was currently midnight and emerson had been stuck in his classroom all day, teaching class and grading papers. the man didn’t think that anyone was around which is why he was sitting there sipping a glass of whiskey. he frowned internally when he saw someone enter the class. “unless it is a dire emergency then please turn around and leave – i’m busy.”

Margot had been frantically searching for her phone in every building and classroom she had been in at any point today. Since it was late, she just kind of assumed that no one would be in the buildings anymore. Which is why she nearly screamed when someone spoke up in the room she just entered. “Merde! (Shit) I am so so sorry sir.. I’m just trying to find my phone!”

“Why does people look at me weirdly for saying that tea party is the best party in the whole world… like… what did I do wrong?”

“Are you talking about like... actual tea parties?”

Florenz was sitting under a tree, lazily strumming a guitar with no apparent melody. He noticed a figure next to him and looked up, “Hi, my name is Florenz, did your parents force you to go to this school too?”

Margot happened to be walking back to her room, when she heard someone playing music somewhere near her. Naturally, she had to go find out what they were playing. When she saw it was a boy playing a guitar, she stopped to listen. Margot didn’t realize she was that close until he spoke to her. “No.” Margot furrowed her eyebrows at his question. “I like it here.”

“I’m only asking because if this is a chaperoned party, we shouldn’t be drinking? And it was a retorical question which makes it dumb to be answered?” She raised a brow, “What are you taking up? For college, I mean.”

“Don’t you have professor friends to drink with? Or is coming to a party with students your only option. And if it was a rhetorical question, you wouldn’t have told my what kind of response you were looking for, like you just did.” Margot rolled her eyes. This professor was trying too hard to make Margot look dumb, and she didn’t care for it. “Why, are you going to try and insult my education?”

“You asked if a professor can drink here, so if you don’t know the answer just don’t say you’re a professor?” Margot said, a little annoyed with this professor already. It seemed obvious.

“I mean, I’m studying music. So it’s just a lot of playing instruments for me.” Margot shrugged, answering plainly. 

“You ever play too much to where your lips hurt, or like your fingers bleed?” He thought, “like in that drum movie? Or is that just a drummer thing?”

“I play violin, so sometimes my fingers get cut, but not that much. My mother wouldn’t let me play the drums.” Margot stated.

Margot smiled when the boy did. She was glad he already seemed to be more comfortable than he was two seconds ago. “I meant how long have you been at the party,” She giggled. “But that’s interesting. What do you mean by ‘real school’? Were you homeschooled?” She hoped she wasn’t overstepping a line, but Margot was just curious. “I’ve been here for maybe a year or so.”

“Oh!!!” he said chuckling a little bit… “i’ve been here for an hour. Just being… umm.. what do you call it…” he said stuck in thinking for a bit. “oh a wallflower.” he said towards her and looked at him. “Oh yeah… I am ever since I was a kid… because you know I’m not that healthy and well… actually this is the first time I’ve been out in a place where there’s many people without my dogs…”

“Well now we can be wallflowers together.” Margot nodded, unsure what to say when he told her he wasn’t that healthy. She wanted so badly to be nosey and ask questions about it, but she was sure this boy didn’t want to tell her his life story two seconds after they met. “Are they cute dogs?” Margot asked instead with a smile.

“Why do people think Psych students have it easy?”

“People just like to think that they have the hardest stuff, and that what other people are doing isn’t hard. It’s the same way with music students.”

“Okay, but does this sound like too much work for one person, or am I crazy?” Garan said, glaring at his course-work outline for the upcoming classes. “What are your classes like?”
