I don't really do paintings, I'm very bad at painting actually haha, but considering that you used translator, you probably meant "drawing" (in English "painting" means paint with literal paints and brushes, or paint digitally... usually with more colors and depths... for example Mona Lisa is a painting, or Ivan Aivazovsky's works are paintings. My artworks are just drawings i think haha

(1) - What helped me personally to be more confident in my art and drawing interesting poses were life sketches lessons I went to for several years every week! drawing real life models, different poses, different angles, trying to make as many sketches as possible - this was very valuable

If you don't have a possibility of going to life sketches lessons, there are few YouTube channels with model posing that I can recommend :

please check them out! each channel has a lot of videos. different poses and different models!

Because I was studying animation - the most important thing for me was capture the pose the most dynamic and striking way. Anatomy details and shadows was second priority. Rendering was last priority.

Tip - when you do life sketches, don't waste your time to erase something that didn't turn out good - draw over it! or take new paper and start a new sketch. doing life sketches is for training and not for creating a masterpiece from the first try!

(2) - another thing that always was interesting and inspiring for me are dynamic animations - i took a lot of inspiration from studio Trigger animations, Mob Psycho 100, One Punch Man battle scenes

I also like animals designs in soviet Mowgli cartoon

Bilibin's illustrations are very big inspiration for me too

I guess my advice here is - find some art that you really like and that inspires you - study it, try to copy it to learn something new, absorb it into your own artstyle!

(3) - weirdly enough doodling in MS Paint helps me to make something, or quick and striking and not overly complicated. This is my workplace:

its just a horizontal canvas, making it bigger will make it harder to navigate, so i keep it that way. there are no layers, so i cant make 100 layers of different colored details. those limitations are kind of freeing, even if it sounds paradoxal... but its like... I can only rely on my sketching skill, and i just sketch, maybe render a bit and that's it. I don't like spending too much time on single art

sometimes when i don't have energy or time to finish drawing in one siting, i just doodle my idea for later

If i get stuck on the illustration, I usually try to make a completely different sketch/approach. Or come back to it later other day! For example, here I was sketching ideas for Look Outside custom monster commission. But I didn't like how it was turning out. so I left them be and came back next day and did a new sketch, which turned out better. my commissioner liked it and i colored it:

I guess my main advice would be - don't be afraid to try new things and practice - it's ok if they don't turn out how you want from the start, nothing ever does. But practice makes anything work! maybe starting a new sketchbook for experiments would be helpful! I did it few years ago and already finished 3 sketchbooks with fun new things. Please have fun!
