“I know, and I definitely appreciate it, but you can’t be enjoying this any more than I am, and I’m definitely not enjoying it much.” Charlotte replied, rolling her eyes at Mariah. She didn’t care if her professor was going to kill her for not doing her work, she just needed a change of scenery. “I don’t know… some retail therapy, maybe? Anything to get me out of this library!”

Mariah laughed and nodded, closing her book. "You had me at retail therapy." She smiled and slipped her novel into her bag, thinking about any clothes she desperately needed for any major events coming up. "Do you know if there's any school events coming up soon?"

“This essay is killing me…” Charlotte sighed, running her fingers through her hair. “What do you say we get out of here, find something that’s actually remotely interesting to do?” She asked, looking up at the person sitting opposite her.

Mariah raised an eyebrow at the girl, seated across from her in the library. She was helping the other female with a paper that she had been stuck on, and she rolled her eyes playfully at the idea. "I'm supposed to be helping you, remember?" She looked down at her book, but a smile crept across her lips and she slowly looked up. "...what exactly...did you have in mind?"

princessmariah: I was actually thinking about posting it up in the next few days!!

he rolled his eyes jokingly and turned around slightly as she grabbed onto him. “science museums are more expensive, and i’m a broke college student.” max then leaned in slightly in mockery of her height comment, he spoke quietly as they were already heading towards the first exhibit. he walked at a leisurely pace, and then furrowing his eyebrows slightly whilst smiling in curiosity. “you’ve never told me about your major, now that i think about it.”

mariah poked his side and scrunched up her nose. "they're only more expensive because they're more fun," she teased, holding onto the boys upper arm. she giggled quietly when he leaned over her and shook her head, following him towards an exhibit on leonardo da vinci. "psych -- minoring in childhood development." She paused and thought for a moment, "i do believe yours is  photography or film, one of the two -- unless i'm completely off and you're like totally into basket weaving or something."

“Will you stand still —” He couldn’t refrain from laughing, he set the camera down and looked at the last take. “— oh wow, that’s a seller.” Max gave Mariah a big smile and laughed while looking at the camera once again.

Mariah twirled around and jumped up and down on her bed, sticking her tongue out at Max. "But I'm full of energy!" She laughed and hopped closer to him, bending down so she could see the camera. " -- Oh God, delete that one, it's awful." The brunette wrapped her arms around Max's shoulders, continuing to look at the camera. "Let's go into town -- take pictures there!"

Holding her warmly, he had his arms around her waist and his hands playing with the ends of her hair. “I’m afraid I tend to get a little sleepy when I drink — ” He smiled and put his hands under her thighs, lifting her up and then standing whilst softly throwing her onto the bed. He hovered over her, smiling. “— very, very sleepy.” He then turned sideways and propped himself on the pillow beside Mariah’s. “I’ve never really been quite good at drinking, I handle well enough but all I end up doing is sleeping.”

Mariah squealed as she was tossed back onto the bed, before cuddling up to Max. She ruffled his hair and kissed his nose. "Get some sleep then, wouldn't want a cranky Max in the morning, now would I?" She giggled and pulled the blanket up to her chin, nuzzling against his chest. "Sleeping is nice, we've got all the time in the world. Don't worry about it." She smiled and closed her eyes, letting the memories of the day lull her to sleep.

"science museums are better." mariah stated, giving max a playful shove. she scurried to catch up with him and slipped past the door, grabbing onto his arm. "wait for me, i've got short legs." the girl mumbled, still clutching the boys upper arm.

Mariah blushed as she nervously twisted her brown ponytail around her index finger. "Um -- I don't really know how to respond to that." She laughed nervously and bit her bottom lip, eyeing the other.

“I gotta’ lot of nicknames for a pretty little face like you,” He leaned in slightly and let the tip of his finger tap the end of her nose, teasingly. “— oh poor thing’s doing her psych homework? Hacking?” He chuckled and stepped back without doubting for a second that something was going on. “Two years of psychology and you’re not a very good liar, Mariah.”

Mariah playfully tried to bite his finger and smirked. "I hardly think pretty is the right word." She turned on her heel to face the books that lined the shelves, running her fingertips over the spines. "It can be useful." The brunette admitted, not specifying which activity she actually found useful. Though she didn't need to. The younger female rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue at the boy. "Oh Isaac -- you are so good at analyzing people aren't you?"

He furrowed his eyebrows in slight confusion, watching her grab the bottle and go for a blow. “What an odd concept on drinking.” He muttered. Max admitted slightly to himself, he was a bit nervous. If this moment goes any further, well, there’s no saying anyone would know what would happen. Regardless, he smiled softly and kissed the nape of her neck, taking in Mariah as she was, and hopefully as she will be for long enough. He chuckled into her neck, whispering low. “Mind if I tell you something?”

Mariah laughed and nodded, “It is a little weird – you can’t taste the wine as well. Drinking straight from the bottle is best reserved for hard liquor.” She smiled warmly and put her arms around the boys neck. The girl kissed the top of his head, nodding. “Of course, love.”

What idiot professor would give a C on any paper about Robert E. Lee? Unless you're writing really is bad, but you don't seem like the type. I could always look at it if you'd like. Maybe they'll let you re-turn it in.
