I’ve been away.

Hi all.

Idk why I had the need to unload on you. I’ll keep it short.

I haven’t been writing bc my thesis is due soon, and I have other research papers and work to do, but I figured you all understood that.

Then today… wow today. My grandpa passed away. He was an amazing man and a stubborn mule, and he never stopped working. He was just an old cowboy with a laugh that sounded like a car engine and cigarette lighters. I loved him and I knew he was tired. He was given two weeks to live eight years ago- so I know I got more time with him and I’m happy. He said he was tired. I’m glad he can rest, now. I like to think he’s riding a horse with my grandma somewhere up there. I hope he is.

Of course- since bad things all happen at once- I have a ten page paper due in 5 days that’s barely started, and my muffler fell off my car on my way to work. And I cannot focus.

So today, I’m tired. I’m sad. I’m done. I’m going to bed. But I hope y’all are having a good day, I really am. Hopefully I took all the negative energy away. ❤️
