Today I just want to say thank you. Because thanks to storytellers like you, I am reminded through your heart and light, of the impact & power of a story, calling me to believe in what I create.

Today i’ve been reminiscing because my novel anytime just turned 4 ❤️🥹, they grow up so fast… 😂. Anyways, ‘anytime’ is a queer 🏳️‍🌈, coming of age 📕 meant to be read to a soundtrack, and as I look back all I can think about is the awesome music that inspired it and helped me tell the story. ‘Getaway Car ‘ is an essential part of its heartbeat.

In Chapter 20, It helped me give life to the rollercoaster Jo goes through as she discovers a long-hidden truth. Thank you for giving her a way to translate all the things she cannot make sense of, all the rush of thoughts, feelings, and images pushing her to run the other way, as at the same time, she’s driving the getaway to what she feels is her destiny. From the moment the plot came to me, there was no other option but this song.

So yeah, thank you. For so much 🫶🏼😁❤️. Because this story changed my life forever, it still doing so. After all, forever is composed of nows, and forever can start anytime. Right @taylornation ?
