Hating on Taylor Swift is rooted in misogyny and everyone refuses to admit that. There are no actual valid reasons to hate on her or bring her down as an artist. Yes, it’s fair to say you don’t enjoy all her music, or don’t like her, or give constructive criticism — but the HATE is unreasonable. I will dismiss all your reasons to hate on her right now. “she’s a billionaire.” Actually, she’s not!!! She has a net WORTH of a billion dollars, meaning her music, her property, and everything she owns is worth a billion dollars. Her music catalogue itself is worth well over 400 million dollars, and her legs are literally insured for over a hundred million dollars. She doesn’t have a billion dollars; she’s worth a billion dollars!!! So instead of tearing her down for that, we should be applauding her!?!? And yes she is very rich, but she donates a lot!!! She just doesn’t make it public— unlike a lot of other celebrities! She does it for the good of it, not for other people’s approval. “She doesn’t speak up” she does, she has openly spoken up about a lot of stuff, however the last time she spoke up fans ended up getting killed!?!? So, sorry if she doesn’t want to put the lives of her fans at risk just SO you guys can validate her. “She’s overrated” No. Maybe you don’t get the hype but her hundred million fans do. You don’t know what that music means for others and I NEVER see people drag down mainstream male artists for being popular!?!? And they could never have the lyricism Taylor has. If she was a man, I can assure you everything she gets hate for would be called “aura.” LeBron James has a net worth of a billion dollars. Why doesn’t he get hate? Mind you, he hasn’t spoken up about a lot of stuff at all?!? Make it make sense.

i keep seeing people say that tloasg was a fanbase cleanse and it genuinely makes me laugh bc why are SOME swifties so intolerant of people’s opinions that differ from theirs. i am a swiftie and i love taylor but i am not the biggest fan of tloasg and that’s okay!!!! that doesn’t mean i’m a fake fan or i’m not as big of a fan as others. like why are we having a superiority complex over taylor swift. get over yourself.
