#canute #vinland saga #watercolor #my art #Made it to try out several things #These things are masking fluid (liked it! super cool!!)#colored pencils my sister gave me a year ago #and watercolors that I'm so afraid of using and use them twice a year maybe #I desperately love watercolors #but they are such an unpredictable material unlike gouache #anyway i did it thanks to moral support from my friend😂#and... I liked it!#both process and the result

I got a scanner (I'm so happy!!!!!!!) and tried it out on this ridiculously gold mermaid I worked on in August

I have mixed feelings about this piece. It's not as good as I wished it to be. How did I even come up with painting her gold? It's stupid. I always struggle with coloring. I hate coloring!

But the birds and the little sea dog look good. So I will use them somewhere else one day (let this picture just be a study, for my piece of mind)

From a certain angle it can look good tho
