H-H-Hadestown??? Hadestown AU???? Please share it with us! Please! . (But only when you feel comfortable. Just know, we’ll be waiting, vibrating in excitement!)
It’s really loosely based off Hadestown. It has similar story beats and I’m using the songs but I’m changing a lot of things. A lot of the roles are going to split too.
This is the WIP I have based off the song ‘Chant’
Essentially what’s happening during this part:
-Zuko and Katara are having marriage disputes because it’s getting hard on both of them to have Katara splitting her responsibilities between the Fire Nation and Water Tribes. And possibly something more supernatural is occurring 👀
-The spirit world is practically splitting into the living world, in not a good way (and in turn making Aang practically glitch out). Aang is trying to find the answer for why this is happening. He discovers that the spirits of Oma and Shu are against each other for some reason causing a great imbalance.
-Sokka and Suki are keeping an eye on Aang as hes going between worlds. Trying to help him anyway they can. They are so caught up in making sure is okay they don’t notice a certain someone missing
-Toph snuck out in search for extra supplies (and maybe kick a few spirits butts if need be). They were running low on food. Plus she couldn’t stand it anymore just waiting around and hoping Aang would be okay. Unlucky for her though, she gets stuck in a blizzard. She can barely sense a thing causing her to wonderlessly wander in hopes of running into anyone who can guide her back. She’s practically half dead by the time she does run into someone. A certain someone that’s been waiting for her for a long time...
