Not gonna lie, I’m surprised I didn’t see it coming. Whilst the dorms are cute and charming and have such a great history to them… the age is a setback.
Invest in multiple blankets. Nothing better than cuddling up under them with cocoa, netflix, and maybe a lucky someone.

Run II open
She hated the gym — no hate was too strong of a word. She disliked the gym, that large building with its smells and eyes. Those judging faces and yet she went, she suffered through the early morning wakeup calls, and the walk in all that snow. She forced herself to go, to do as she had done at home. Back in that safe place — back where she knew herself. Everyday she forced her feet to move her mother’s voice ever present within her mind…make the best of it Janice, you were born for this Janice. JANICE. Those words were the beat to which she ran feet pounding against the treadmill as the other students slowly began to find their way in. She didn’t look at them, couldn’t bring herself to do so for she wasn’t sure what she would see when she did. For now, thanks to her mother’s secret, she could no longer be certain what she would be looking at.
As that thought broke through her psyche her feet stumbled, pace stuttering before completely giving out as she fell. That loud bang echoing off the near empty walls as she flew backwards, feet bending beneath her form as the the mat tore at her skin. Within those quick seconds she scrambled hands moving too slowly as she hit the wall behind, not a sound escaping her lips as she sat there bruised and burned as the machine’s belt slowly whirled to a stop. How could that have happened she thought arm in her hand as an embarrassed flush rose within her cheeks, where was your head?
Maria needed to get out some energy that was bubbling up inside of her as the moon approached. Sure, marathon fucking her boyfriend was an option, but eventually, both of them were forced to stop due to work. She couldnt't do weights at the gym, a thin girl picking up what she could would gain awkward glances. So, instead, she worked on cardio. She worked on the infernal stair stepper, one of the few machines she could use to her level and not look superhuman. She was wearing naught but a purple-blue sports bra and dark grey tight workout pants, so of course she got stares, but Maria didn't care. She wasn't pying attention.
She finished her workout and got off the machine to refill her waterbottle when the girl fell on the treadmill. Maria rushed over to help her up. "You okay? Come on, let's get you upright." Maria looked her over. "I have ibuprofen in my bag."

Maria was enjoying getting to know the students, though she never anticipated it being like this. Random make outs weren't exactly her idea of fun, though she could completely understand it. It was her turn after breaking a kiss with one of the girls. It landed on the quiet blond werewolf she had met recently. "Come here cutie." She beckoned him forward with her finger and placed a small peck on his lips.

Maria looked to Nick and put her hand on her neck, swatting him away. "None of your damn business." The long jagged scar was all that remained of a life long ago. She had been trapped in the house when it was set ablaze, and her brother rescued her. The burn was an nasty one, but they knew some witches who made a salve for her to use twice a day. As it shrank over the span of a year, Maria found that she couldn't erase it completely. It would forever remind her of those bastards that killed her father and ruined her family.
"Yeah, Nick ’ s a party animal, no pun intended." She sipped her beer. "He’ll probably be at the next meeting, ranting and raving about something. He’s also a bit of a heartbreaker. But that’that’s neither here nor there."
He chuckled at the little joke. “I haven’t really concerned myself about that yet…” Thad looked around once again and sipped his beer.
"Right..." Maria looked around. "Oh, Law told me about the incident he texted you about. Have you had a chance to talk to the girl & Greyson yet?"
"Mmm, that makes more sense." She looked him over with a smirk. "Oh, no, tiger, I’m with the right kind of guy. Like I said, he’s not into keggers or ragers, but we do go clubbing and have a marvelous time together, until we get interrupted. Besides, he has a bit of...
Maria laughed. "You're right going to parties like this is fun." She bit her lip, holding back another laugh. "I see you finally put the pieces together on who I am, and who my incredibly sexy and vengeful boyfriend is. He'll get a kick out of this." She took a drink. "Oh come on, it was harmless fun. So the player got played. Who cares. And don't worry about Law coming after you, he knows he's more than enough man for me, and I'd only hit on a girl if I intended on bringing her to bed with him." She winked. "Have fun getting that image out of your head. You know, I honestly don't get why people don't like him." She shrugged and walked out to where people were dancing and joined in.

She stayed vague in case anyone was listening in.
