Qui-Gon sets a terrible example for his padawan. They're resting after a workout or something, and I took off their tunics just for the sake of Qui's belly and to show off his "garden" tan. I'm just not sure if there's a name for it in English. It's the type of tan you get when you're busy in the garden and you're wearing clothes, so you get an uneven tan. That's my headcanon for him, lol

AND WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR TRAIN'S REFERENCES (because I've never drawn him before lol) I noticed that Thorin had a braided beard (which I hadn't noticed before), and this led me to believe that after Smaug stole their mountain, Thorin did that unforgivably dramatic dwarf thing, like shaving his beard because he's emo.

Hi! I bought a tablet with a stylus the other day and I'm trying to tame this beast. Honestly, I'm used to drawing on my Wacom tablet. I got it when I was 10 years old, and I'm 20 now, but I still draw on it lol… Anyway. I don't really like this art of Thorin and Bilbo, because it's the first thing I fully drew on this tablet, and I spent a lot of time on it, and it's CRICKY AAAAA. 😭😭 but okay. And also Frodo the dworbbit. I love it.

I sketched this in pencil while I was in my criminal law class, and I colored it with my finger in a drawing app. It wasn't the most comfortable experience, as I'm used to my graphics tablet, but it turned out cute. 🦇🦇🦇
