And so this is the thing I saw and it made me excited. I got permission to draw it, but here is the original post author: @nightyboop

AND WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR TRAIN'S REFERENCES (because I've never drawn him before lol) I noticed that Thorin had a braided beard (which I hadn't noticed before), and this led me to believe that after Smaug stole their mountain, Thorin did that unforgivably dramatic dwarf thing, like shaving his beard because he's emo.
