they canceled the show and a five year old actor was receiving death threats because they showed a gay married couple on televesion. this is a completely real thing..

Guys- the show wasn’t cancelled because of this.

About a year before this episode aired, the cast and crew announced this was the final season (most Disney Channel shows now only have a four-season run). This episode just so happened to be the second-to-last episode to premiere- the show was already going to end that season anyway.

Unfortunately the part about the five-year-old actress getting death threats because of the whole thing…yeah, that did happen, and it just shows how messed up some people in this world can be.
