Sophia Lillis as Carrie Finch in All Her Fault
I really liked the ending of All Her Fault, but I can't help but feel for how unfair it is for Carrie-uhh-Josie to have her life robbed. She was a TEENAGE mother, who got her CHILD STOLEN from her, never had parents who were kind or put her first, and then was MURDERED by the same evil man who stole her child with a "punchable face"
all her fault (2025) literally has everything….kidnapping, dakota fanning x sarah snook yuri, lying to the cops, gaslighting, sophia lillis giving herself a haircut in a bathroom, murder….
I feel inclined to point out that the only reason throughout the entire show that Marissa smiled (other than milo ofc) was for Jenny and vice versa. And it’s also interesting that their husbands did the absolute most trying to keep them apart, almost as if they knew that lesbian sex their friendship would fix everything.
i don’t have to say “they should’ve lezzed out” about marissa and jenny bc u KNOW in the future. they WILL lez out.
Marissa and Jenny's friendship is balancing. They don't want anything from the other. That's why the relationship builds and grows and can sustain, because it's really just from a heartful place.
Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning as Marissa and Jenny All Her Fault (2025) created by Megan Gallagher
Can we talk about "all her fault" and how perfectly described is the emotional and mental labor a woman carries in society and romantic relationships?
I love that Marissa's real support came from other woman, I love that they talked about how women are forced to be "incredible" because they have no other option but to cope with a million demands and I loved the last scene of Jane and Marisa living their best lives without their abusive husbands.
Lia, Peter own sister, protected Marissa from the police with her statement. She recognised the damage her brother caused in their lives and that, in reality, was all his fault.
Tell me you all see the vision

I think that some viewers of Marty Supreme didn’t understand the significance of Marty Mauser, a Jewish man, winning in Japan against Japans star table tennis player in the aftermath of WW2. If u thought Marty supreme wasn’t deep or interesting, I suggest looking at it through a historical lens & consider what was happening and had happened in the world while this competition was going on
This is a good layer of the movie because it’s absolutely true - and that’s not what was in his head at all.
Marty is so self involved that he couldn’t recognize what this might mean to his community or his friends/family. It’s all about His defeat, His victory, His battle against his opponent. No else’s satisfaction or pain mattered him except his own.
That’s also why Kletzki’s story is so powerful and gets a flashback sequence. To show THAT Jewish man is fighting against the empire of Japan, HE cares about what this means to his community.
Marty though? Marty’s only looking out for himself.
The funniest thing about Marty Supreme is that the first like 40 minutes it plays like a normal rags to riches sports movie but then the following next two hours feel like this
Fanart for counterargument by teeterss (@gotham)
A very cracky comic to a very cracky (and well-characterised and horny and poignant and dramatic and tender and-) fic. Highly recommend the series if a romp through Lex Luthor's entertainingly yet gut-wrenchingly neurotic mind sounds like a good time to you!
Line art version:
will you guys cancel me if i say that queer tragedy has a place in the creative arts and shouldn’t immediately be dismissed as bury your gays
adding @glorious-spoon 's astute tags:
#bury your gays and women in refrigerators and the black guy dies first are all about treating marginalized people like props#to further the story of the (white straight male) protagonist#that's not the same thing as a tragedy! some stories are tragedies! whose story has weight and meaning - that's the question
