This is honestly making me so deeply sad and upset. I’m not even asking for a rainbows and sunshine ending alright ? At least just let us know how he died or what happened to him even if it’s something tragic because not even getting a closure is way worse.

Oh my dear Megumi, my heart truly breaks for you. This kid (who is literally one of the first characters that we were introduced to in jjk) has suffered all his life since the time he was just a child when he was abandoned and left alone with his sister and then he was pulled into this world that he never had any interest in but he joined it solely because it would keep his sister safe but after a few years his sister also goes into a coma.

And when he finally does form a close friendship, the guy has to be executed because this evil creature rests within him. Also not to give all credit to Megumi but he played a VERY vital role in Yuuji being alive because Gojo specifically asked for Megumi’s opinion on it (not saying Gojo would’ve taken him to the gallows right then and there but once Megumi expressed his plea to Gojo about keeping him alive that’s when Gojo took a personal interest in Yuuji).

Then his friend’s heart gets ripped out infront of his very eyes leaving his traumatised and then he returns back once he has mourned him.

All these things. He has never gotten anything that he has ever wanted. His sister dies. His mentor (the guy who literally raised him) is killed by him possessed by the spirit of the biggest evil entity in their world.

Megumi is so deeply selfless and he cares so much. He was the one who was most eager to get Gojo out of the prison realm. He’s so polite and he is so smart and be tries so hard but it’s never enough, is it?

And now we don’t even know how his story ends. I’m so sorry Megs, you deserved better.
