EVEN IF IT WERE JUST A SIMPLE MOMENT, it felt as if that moment in itself had lasted forever. it had been a long while since he last laid eyes upon her. too long…and yet seemingly not long enough. it was not that he had wished to never see her again, but rather that considering the circumstances of how they left off…he wasn’t exactly jumping at the idea of seeing her once more. nonetheless, it seemed somehow despite being immortal, time was becoming of her, or maybe that was just the nostalgia speaking. “no,” he said a bit questioningly as he looked at her, brow ever so slightly raising. “but i expect that you already knew that, marjorie.”
It was strange to hear him say her name after all this time. She sipped her drink nervously a part of her contemplating running straight out of Mystic Falls, the other part contemplating running into his arms and holding him close. “I suppose I do know that, Alixandre.” She set down her drink before turning so she could face him. He was just as handsome as she remembered him being, though with a significantly better haircut. He was still completely familiar to her though, he was the only thing she ever knew truly cared about her. “Did you ever think of me? After all this time did you ever wonder what happened to that girl from England you loved all those centuries ago?” She could care less that it wasn't an appropriate question to ask the man. She had a feeling she would regret knowing the answer but she needed to know.
