She watched as he nodded and reached for the glass he had been drinking from. As he offered it to her, she gingerly grabbed the glass and took a gulp. At this point, she had no idea how many different alcoholic beverages she had mixed by now but it was too late to worry about that now. After taking a drink, she moved her gaze from his and looked towards the countertop so she could set the glass down. Suddenly, she felt his thumb touching her lips, sending goosebumps all over her skin. As his thumb moved away from her lip, she found herself bringing her own thumb to where his had last touched her lips, missing the touch already. She cleared her throat at his question and cocked her head to the side while giving him a gentle smile. “Well, that all depends. Are you a fan of ballet? Or have you ever attended one of the shows in the downtown area at least?” The thought of seeing him anywhere near a ballet show almost made her chuckle. Then again, he did seem like a sophisticated man who probably had gone there before on a business meeting. As all wealthy older men did when they wanted to satisfy their wives while getting business done. Then again, he did mention that he lived alone and she had not seen a wedding ring on his finger either.

She subconsciously walked over to the kitchen area as he gently guided her with the hand on her back. She made a mental note and nodded to herself as he mentioned that he lived alone. Her eyes were still wandering around the apartment as she took a seat on one of the bar stools. Her attention was brought back to him as he heard his voice and felt him standing between her knees. She slowly turned her head to meet his gaze as she felt the warmth building up in her cheeks. Did she want another drink? Or should she be the responsible adult that she usually was? The latter being a rhetorical question as she was currently in a stranger’s home. She fought internally for a second and sighed. She slowly brought her hands up to the collar of his shirt and gently tugged at his tie. If she was feeling hot, she could only imagine that he’d be suffocating with that tie on. As she focused her attention on his tie to loosen it, she slowly looked up at him. “Now what kind of guest would I be if I denied a drink from you?”

Mark couldn’t help the small smile and shake of his head as her fingers pulled his tie loose and then laid on his chest for a few seconds before he took them with one of his, holding both and nodding. “As the lady demands then” he spoke and reached to with his free hand to take the whiskey glass he had left, leaving the almost burned out cigarette on the marble counter, no ashtray to the side. Picking up the glass by its bottom and holding it between his fingers he took a sip before offering it to her, his light eyes following her features. The situation was not what he was used to. Usually the woman would be over him from the car and he would carry her up the stairs without the need of further wooing. Perhaps this spoke more on him and his choices than on the women, but for a few years now this was a routine and it brought him peace. “So, Miss Holsen”, he said as he moved a thumb at the edge of her lips to brush away a nonexistent drop of the amber liquid. “where would I have had a chance to see you before? ”

At this point, she didn’t even know if it was the alcohol or just the way his voice and presence made her feel. It was so intoxicating that she was fighting every urge in her to forget her morales to go home with a complete stranger. However, given the fact that she was completely stranded and with nowhere to go, she agreed to take his offer. Honestly, it wasn’t that much of a hard decision to make. Internally, she was ecstatic. This meant that she got the opportunity to spend more time with him now. It didn’t matter to her anymore what the consequences of her actions would be, as long as he was around. “All right, fine. I’ll take you up on your offer. I’m going to use my better judgement here and hope that you’re not a serial killer. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt for now.” She said jokingly with a smile spreading across her lips. A few minutes later, he was holding his hand out to her and they were both walking out of the club together towards a car that was awaiting them towards the back, away from the buzzing crowd in the front. She barely remembered the car ride or how long they had been traveling for. She had been lost in thought replaying the moment that he had opened the car door for her and placed a hand on the small of her back to guide her in. She could still feel the warmth of his touch in that spot. A few minutes later, they had finally arrived at their destination. They had entered a very upscale neighborhood and she immediately felt like a fish out of water. Definitely a place that she did not belong in. The car came to a halt and before she knew it, there he was again. Opening the door for her and extending his hand out to assist her. She placed her hand on his softly and followed him inside his home. The moment he opened the door, her jaw nearly hit the floor. Everything inside the house looked expensive and fragile. She slowly walked in behind him and carefully ran her fingers through a marble divider in the entrance. The place looked immaculate. Like a home out of a magazine. The place was definitely too big for just one person to live here. “Your home is very beautiful.” She said in a soft voice. As her eyes wandered around the beauty before her. Then it dawned on her. “Wait a minute… surely this place isn’t just for you alone is it? you’re not married or with someone are you? Or have roommates? I definitely do not want to cause any issues.” She paused for a second. “I mean, not that it’s any of my business.” She cleared her throat and averted her gaze to the living area in front of her while twirling her thumbs together. She was trying to make the situation less awkward but it didn’t help that she was just standing there in front of him. Like a puppy waiting for a command. She finally looked back at him and met his gaze, waiting for him to say or do something.

A chuckle was his reply to her remark on the killer. He had never really personally killed anyone, so she was right that he was not a serial killer, despite his dabbling in the underworld of America until he had settled in this town. As he put a hand on her lower back to guide her to the car, following his driver who had been enjoying his time at the bar, he was realizing that she was indeed very drunk with the steps she took and the support he offered. In the car, she seemed mostly out of it, which stopped his urge to put his hands underneath her dress and push it up so he could trail his fingers up her tights while his lips would have been on her neck. But despite all his flaws he considered himself a gentleman in this regard. If only this. So he sat, looking outside the window as they drove to the outskirts and the old apartment building where the owners were rich and inconspicuous.

Walking up the stairs, he kept a hand on her back again to balance her in her heels. The glaze in her eyes as she took in the entryway and living room, in its beige and white and art deco French style that he had agreed to keep and only renovate made him smile. He let her question roll around him and did not reply for a while as he took off his suit jacket and took out the metal cigarette pack to light another one. Once cigarettes hadn't been allowed anywhere but by the window in the kitchen or under the hood for the stove. Now the smell had replaced any previous ones and was sticking slightly to the couch and curtains.

"I live alone," he said at last as he went to the coffee table and opened the decanter with whiskey and poured a glass for himself, pulling at the collar of his shirt with the hand that still held the butt of the cigarette. Then, using the same hand to take the glass, he offered her his free one and led her to the kitchen, unused and still brand new. "Would you like something to drink? Or just water?" he asked as his hand travelled down her back again and he let her sit on one of the barstools, lingering next to her. He didn't know her so he wasn't sure if she got sober quickly or even if this state for her was considered too drunk. So he smiled as he exhaled another puff of smoke, standing between her knees as he waited for an answer.

“You are either very bold or very drunk.” His words echoed in her mind and she internally smirked. Despite her innocent look, she could indeed be very bold given the opportunity. Especially if she really wanted something badly, drunk or not. And to be honest, she almost had just kissed the poor man. Even though she had created a slight distance between them, he immediately closed it right back. She listened to his words intently while subconsciously bringing her left thumb to her lips. As she was considering his offer, she slightly gasped when his hand touched her knee and caressed the outside of her thigh. I guess it was his time to catch her off guard like she had done. After a few seconds had passed, she realized that she needed to answer him. Clearing her throat, she shot him a smile. “As much as I enjoy your company, I would honestly hate to inconvenience you. I left the keys to my place at the hotel, and I don’t even have the keys to the hotel.” She paused for a second and grabbed her phone. “And my phone is dead.” She stared at the black screen of her phone and laughed. “I wouldn’t even know where to go at this point to be honest.” She had no idea what she was going to do now, but she didn’t care as long as she had his company.

He continued observing her as if she were an animal in a cage and he was an onlooker, trying to glimpse at a wonderous creature inside. Her reactions were slow but coherent enough that he still didn't consider her too drunk, so he placed the hand that was not on her knee on the wrist of her hand holding a dead phone. "No inconvenience at all. I have just the perfect place for you to rest if you would like to," he spoke plainly, his gaze on hers conveying the unspoken words that didn't specify. "And I will even promise to take you safely wherever you please in the morning" he finished as his blue irises moved in her light ones. He was not sure even after a few hours if they were blue or grey, the lighting had prevented him from figuring it out.

The night was slowly coming to an end as each girl went their respective ways. Genevieve had lost track of time and had been lost in her own thoughts when she noticed him approach her. She slowly looked towards his direction as he neared her. Her vision was slightly blurry by this point, but she could still make out his distinctive features and his English accent. In response to his comment, she looked around the room. She hadn’t noticed how close he was to her until she directed her attention back to him. His face was mere inches from hers. She could feel his hot breath on her face, sending shivers down her spine. For a moment she was stunned, unable to speak as she tried to catch her breath. There was just something about him that ignited a fire in her. Or maybe it was just the alcohol. Regaining her composure she managed to finally reply. “I did. Well, we did. Thank you again so much for your hospitality and making it a night to remember for the girls, Mr. Charmichael.” Her voice was low and a bit raspy from screaming all night over the loud music. “I guess I should probably look for the girls now.” As she went to grab her phone to call the girls, she saw a message from Rachel. Apparently two of them had already made arrangements to get back to the hotel and the other two had left with the guys they were making out with earlier. After reading the message, Genevieve shook her head and smiled. “Or not. I guess I better make arrangements to get home then.” As she attempted to get up her hand brushed his. It was like touching a burning stove, but she couldn’t find herself to move her hand away from his. She looked from her hand to his eyes and then down to his lips. God… His lips were so plump and looked so inviting. She could kiss him right now. Hell, she wanted to. Badly. Before she knew it, her lips were almost brushing his as their gaze met. She could smell the whiskey on his breath. Suddenly, her phone chimed, signaling that her battery had died. She broke away from his gaze and slumped back down on the couch. “Great.” was all she could mutter underneath her breath. The phone had ruined the moment… or maybe it had saved her from making a mistake. Regardless, she was screwed now. No friends, no way to get home and a burning desire to ravage the man in front of her. With a sigh she grabbed her water bottle and took a sip, slowly licking the water from her lips. Embarrassed to look at him after almost kissing him.

Looking so closely into her face and eyes he couldn't help but notice that there was a lack of any similarity whatsoever, however much he had imagined it previously in the night and tried to find something other than the overall feeling of her aura... he did find that he quite liked her features though, especially the blush all over her from alcohol and the warmth that was in the club.

"You are either very bold or very drunk, miss Holsen" he spoke to her, gaining back the distance she had put between them, sitting on the edge beside her. "I will be just the first and ask if you would require a ride somewhere, considering your entourage left you to your lonesome with only me as your company..." He put a hand on her knee, moving a finger along the soft fabric of her dress. He hoped she wasn't too drunk and maybe he could have his way and then order some flowers be sent so that she could have the night finished off with a good memory and then be forgotten with time. But he couldn't be sure, considering the way her eyes were focusing as if too loosely on everything.

The whole situation seemed bizarre at this point. They had gone from bar hopping to now being in the VIP section at one of the most elite clubs in town. The thought of the whole situation made Genevieve chuckle. She found it amusing how the other girls were so carefree and had lost all sense of danger at this point, but who was she to judge? She was a part of the group, so surely she was included in that carelessness mentality. Once again, her trance had been broken by an inebriated Kiara. She watched as Kiara nearly stumbled over as she attempted to get up and quickly flopped back down when the man in front of them dismissed her and waved someone over. Suddenly, Kiara was laying half across Genevieve’s lap whispering something in her ear. With how loud the music was, Genevieve could barely understand Kiara through her mumbled words. However, she managed to catch the words, “One of you better get this man to go home with you tonight.” Genevieve let out a chuckle. “I’m sure Sheryl will beat us to that.” She joked as she pulled Kiara’s dress down to cover her half exposed ass cheeks. As she looked back up, she realized that his eyes had remained glued to her. She felt warmth spreading across her cheeks. There was just something about his stare that pierced right through her and made her feel like her knees would buckle, even though she was sitting down. Starting to feel like she had been staring for too long, her gaze was forced to be broken when a woman by the name of Maria walked over to them with a tray of drinks. As the drinks were being passed around, Lindsey replied to the man’s question before any of the other girls could. “Honestly, we would love to continue the party. I mean, our goal is to make sure that our bride to be has a night to remember that would make her second guess this marriage.” She jokingly said with a laugh while giving Kiara’s thigh a squeeze. “Welp! The jury has spoken. The votes are in! If the handsome Mr. Charmichael would love to have us, we choose to stay!” Sheryl exclaimed through her drunken slurred words. “Cheers!” As they all raised their shots and clinked their glasses, Genevieve smirked and raised an eyebrow in a flirtatious way towards his direction. “Well, I guess we’re here to stay. If you’ll have us that is.” Genevieve added as she took a sip of her water after downing the shot. Her vision starting to become slightly blurry due to the effects of the alcohol. What have we gotten ourselves into, she thought internally.

Mark couldn't help but smile at the woman's statement, knowing neither of them would probably have any vivid memories of the night considering their state. But he didn't feel the need to note this as they started downing the shots he had brought. He leaned forward to take his barely touched glass of whiskey which he used to wet his lips occasionally since 11 pm when he had arrived for the night.

While the next three trays of shots were brought up and down the stairs into the lounge the group got even louder and hardly noticed his silence as he observed them, sober as a judge, the music booming louder once the terrace's glass walls were cracked a bit. He laughed when they said something which in their drunken state seemed to be funny, smiled as they asked questions and kept to himself, observing the blonde that had brought them here the whole time. In the beginning, she had been the soberest one but after a few of the shots her cheeks had reddened even more making his thoughts fly in inappropriate directions as they giggled and their whispers became shouts. He was sure that he could take the brunette in the blue dress down to the toilet and enjoy a second orgasm tonight, but he wasn't sure it was worth it, considering she would probably be inadequate. He always preferred to first have sex and then buy a drink for a girl. But he did enjoy the company, or pretend he had company as they all enjoyed themselves and he was diving deep into his happier memories, the surroundings making that easy

As two of them ran down the stairs, probably to cover for each other while they threw up, another seemed asleep in the corner and the last one was making out with a guy who had come with two friends later on, regular blokes that often left big sums of money, he smiled again at Genevieve and rose a hand as if to call her to him. He had noticed she had stopped drinking some time ago, sticking to water bottles. He rose up from the armchair where he had stood for all this time and walked toward her. "It seems the night is ending for your friends... all in their all way", he spoke as he neared her, keeping his voice louder so she could hear him. "I hope you had a nice time this evening miss Holsen." he put a hand on the back of the couch she was sitting on, leaning in so he wouldn't need to shout.

He had introduced himself as Mr. Carmichael, which confirmed her observations of him. It meant that he was indeed a man of power and importance. No ordinary man would introduce themselves by their last name anymore. It was too proper. When he basically offered to cater their outing for the remainder of the night, she couldn’t help but internally roll her eyes. He must’ve obviously wanted something in return, unless he genuinely just loved having women around to keep his status quo of being a desired and important man. As he stood up and walked over to them, she watched as her group of friends swooned over his lips touching their hands. Their cheeks turning even more of a darker tone of pink now. Blushing and giggling, they’d yearn for his lips to have lingered on their hands for longer. He finally slowly made his way over to her and extended his hand. His gaze almost piercing through her. “That depends. If we’re being formal, I guess you can address me by my last name too. I’m Miss Holsen.” She replied cooly and sarcastically. A smirk appeared on her lips as she looked him up and down, finally offering him her hand. She had definitely meant it in a teasing way, and she knew that he’d more than likely find it comical. However, in their drunken slumber, Kiara leaned over towards them both and placed a hand on the man’s forearm while laughing. “Oh don’t mind her. Genevieve can be silly at times! She’s just giving you a hard time and pretending to be mysterious.” As Kiara spilled her name, Genevieve shot her a glare before returning her attention to the man standing in front of her. “Well, I guess now you know my first and last name. Should I give you my middle name too? Maybe my social?” She asked jokingly. Before he could say anything, Sheryl interrupted them. “Well now that introductions are done, why don’t we have a toast or round of shots for our very handsome and considerate host?” The man hadn’t even had a chance to place a kiss on her hand yet. Genevieve knew that Sheryl couldn’t stand the thought of the man lingering in front of her longer than he had done with her. Her drunken jealousy was starting to show, and she wanted the attention all to herself. Before acknowledging her, the man finally kissed Genevieve’s hand. As his lips touched her skin, chills ran down her spine and her heart started racing a bit faster. His lips were extremely soft against her skin, and it didn’t help that he maintained eye contact with her the entire time. It took everything in her power to hide how he had just made her feel. She felt like she had actual butterflies flying around in her stomach, but she blamed those feelings on the effects of the alcohol. All she could do in return was offer him another smile and a look that would stir something inside of him.

Genevieve Holsen. He memorized the name more than he had bothered to remember the previous four, or more than he had interest in remembering them. The tone of her voice and the deepness of it were both so familiar and new. His smile was hard to keep for the first few seconds, being so close and hearing it, but then he internally chastised himself and chuckled instead of frowning.

“Just your first name would have been okay with me, but I do enjoy any further information shared“ he said with an amused tone, as he returned to the armchair, putting his elbows on his knees as he kept her gaze for a few more seconds, the warmth of her hand still pronounced on his lips, more than that of the other before her. He could see the sparkle in her eyes and could recognize the emotion too well.

“I’ll go get the shots!“ Kiara announced as if to take his attention back to her, his eyes still on Genevieve. She was struggling to get up once again, seemingly feeling the alcohol so much stronger now that she had once sat down and stopped dancing. “No need, love.“ he interrupted as he rose a hand towards the stairs and as if appearing from thin air after less than a minute one of the waitresses stopped next to them. “A tray of shots with something good in them, Maria. And waters, please.“ he nodded at her, and then returned his gaze to the women opposite him, as the girl quickly headed away. Kiara was whispering something at the blonde’s ear and he couldn’t help the wider grin at his lip.

“So, ladies. Is this the end of a bachelorette or would you like additional entertainment. This club can arrange all if asked... nicely“ he spoke to all but his blue irises were glued to Genevieve, appearing as if this fact may be making her uncomfortable. And she was the most adequate of all of them.

After being escorted into another area of the balcony further away from the hustle and bustle of the club, the girls all settled next to each other. They sat down on one of the comfy couches with their legs crossed. Some showing more leg skin than others. As the man joined them by sitting directly across from them, Genevieve attempted to hide her laugh as she watched the other girls swooning over this handsome man sitting before them now. She had to admit, he looked like a God. His chiseled features and prominent blue eyes becoming more pronounced as the club lights casted over him. Suddenly, he spoke. His voice was raspy and sultry. It didn’t help that she noticed the British accent, which added more to his mystique. As he finished asking the question, Rachel immediately piped up. “We’re having a bachelorette party!” She pointed towards Kiara, who immediately froze. “Kiara over here is getting married on Sunday!” Rachel explained with a giant grin. As the words spilled out of her mouth, Kiara attempted to fake a smile and a laugh. “I sure am.” She said, with a slight annoyance in her voice. The next one to pipe up was Sheryl. “She may be off the market, but some of us are still available.” She threw a flirtatious smile his way with a wink to follow. Genevieve internally grimaced at the girl’s attempt to flirt with the man. She had to give her props though. Liquid courage was definitely a real thing. As the others attempted to gain his attention, she watched his movements closely. She watched as the ashes fell from his cigarette to his lap, as his hand leisurely swept the ashes away. Her eyes slowly followed from his lap back to his eyes. It was her turn to speak now during the brief moment of silence. She leaned back on the couch as she brought her drink to her lips. “And you are?” She questioned the man with a raised brow. Next thing you knew, the rest of the girls heads snapped in her direction. Shocked. She could tell that he was surprised and intrigued by her question. So far, she had been the only one not looking at him with hunger in her eyes or mentally trying to undress him like the rest. She knew all too well what type of man he was just by his demeanor. A man who believed the world was his and that he could have whatever he wanted at the snap of a finger. With power came entitlement. She slowly drank from her cup as she stared at him, awaiting his response. The room had fallen silent despite the noises from the music downstairs.

“Seems like you will have a lucky man soon“, was Mark’s answer as his first impression was confirmed by the giggling group. He was smiling with a wider smile now, still not reaching his eyes. He had always enjoyed the company, be it men or women to speak to, but especially women. Even if for the past three years they had been mostly distractions and filling of time, considering how little he could share with them and there were just so many times you could discuss the glamour of night life and cultural and political events before getting repetitive. With women in this club he rarely said more than a few sentences, but considering there were more than two of them here, he couldn’t slide between them and offer them drinks and sensual touches to stop all further discussions.

He ignored the comment of the brunette in the blue dress, reminding him of too many previous women in her place, something in her eyes and face speaking of cheap thrills. Without moving his gaze to where his attention was focused he gave a silent chuckle. “You ladies can call me Mr Carmichael. I’d be happy to be a host of the time left of your festivities here. I am weak at the sigh of such a happy group.” he spoke the flattery in his usual low voice, possible not that the glass wall was fully pulled. He nodded at Blake who returned to his position by the stairs.

The group of women went ahead and were quick to introduce themselves and he got up, taking each one’s hand and placing a kiss on them. The woman in the blue dress with her flirtorious tongue licking her lips was Sheryl, the bride-to-be in white - Kiara, Lindsey whose black velvet dress seemed ready to slip down, and then Rachel in pink. He repeated their names and then finally gave his hand to the blonde because of which they had all were now there. The first time in the last minute and a half of giggling and smiles in which he looked at her, pinning his gaze to hers as he waited. “And last of all...?“

Just as her eyes had met his, he quickly disappeared and blended into the darkness from where he had once appeared. All that was left of his presence was the red hue of his cigarette and a cloud of smoke. For some odd reason, she couldn’t get his face out of her mind. As she stared up at the balcony, her trance was broken when a man appeared at the foot of the steps and motioned the group to come over. Before Genevieve could say a word, she felt one of the girls grab her bicep and drag her towards the stairs while giggling and nodding their heads. Genevieve tried to protest but knew she would be outnumbered. She shrugged her shoulders and shook her head while smiling and rolling her eyes. They began to follow the man who had come to get them, and as she neared the top of the stairs, there he was. Sitting back with that same cigarette pursed against his lips. A small smile crept up on her lips as she made eye contact with the mysterious man once again. Suddenly, she heard the group of girls gasp and whispering among themselves. “Oh my god… he is so fucking fine!” The words had come out of Lindsey’s mouth in what you would consider a ‘whisper scream’. Next thing you knew, the other girls were attempting to fix their hair and clothing to look more presentable. Instead of joining them, Genevieve just stood to the side and looked at them like a mother would look at their child in a candy store. She giggled as she looked from the group of girls to the man’s face, waiting to see his reaction.

He heard the group before he saw it, giggling emitting as they were walking up, his ears too used to the music and able to catch other sounds with a bit more ease than one would. He spent most of his nights either at this club or the burlesque one he owned in the other part of town. He was rarely needed at the restaurant, owned under a benefactor so quit wasn’t the typical venue of choice. But these women, in their dresses, ignoring the state they were in, did belong in a piano bar rather than here, in an expensive club that was also so cheap at times.

With the beat picking volume and shouts emitting from below he was not able to distinguish words from the group but he put a hand up to pull at the collar of his white shirt before extending an arm to the couches as an invitation. He could bring them anything the bar offered, both on and off the menu to distract the group while his eyes stayed glued to the blonde in red dress, still more coherent than the rest apparently. He gave a smile he knew would be found charming, even if for him it was simply a movement of his lips, as they all skittered towards the lounge area and settled themselves. Mark did the same and sat on a small armchair in the same white color as all other furniture and waved for one of the remaining bodyguards to pull at the glass wall of the balcony at one side so that the music would be at least a little quitter.

“What are we celebrating, ladies?“ he asked, pulling from the cigarettes, which led it to burn out and the ash to fall on his lap, the hot air in his mouth burning his throat in a familiar and calming way. He pushed the ash off before returning his eyes on them with another smirk. He still gave no name for them to remember, however unlikely that seemed in their state. His blue irises lingered over the blonde before turning to the rest and staying there.

The girls had been in the club for less than 15 minutes and already half of the group was intoxicated beyond recognition. As Kiara ordered another round for the girls, Genevieve shook her head and laughed. She had been taking one shot here and there, but she wanted to make sure that she was still level headed enough to get the girls back to their hotel safely. However, she was starting to slowly feel the effects of the alcohol as she reluctantly brought the shot of Mellon ball to her lips. As the liquid touched her lips, she was taken aback by the sweet taste of it. For the first time ever, she downed a shot and asked for another. A few more minutes had passed and Genevieve was definitely feeling the effects of the alcohol now. The music started getting louder and the girls were letting lose while dancing. Suddenly, cold liquid drops started falling on the group of girls and Genevieve instinctively shrieked, but soon began laughing along with the other girls. She realized they had been given a champagne shower. She looked up at the waitress holding the bottle and raised an eyebrow while mouthing the words “who and why?”. The waitress simply shrugged and nodded her head towards the balcony. As Genevieve looked up, her blue eyes locked with a mysterious man who was staring down at the group.

Mark was enjoying the view a lot and once the blonde’s eyes turned upward he gave her a smile, barely seen in the darkness, and a nod as he put the bud to his lips and inhaled. The reddish glow of the cigarette lightened half of his face for a second before it died down while he kept the smoke in his lungs.

With another wave of his hand Bill approached. The guy had been with him for 12 years, through thick and thin, saved his life three times when they had been doing business outside of Seattle and even took a knife to the side once in a petty squabble when Mark had been caught with his hand under the skirt of a married woman…. And in the bed which she shared with her husband. The man appreciated him more than almost anyone in his life even if on nights like this he didn’t show it as he used him for a busboy.

“Would you be a dear and see if they want to come up? And then you can take the rest of the evening off if you want.” He spoke in his deep voice with slight hints of his British accent in some words. The two men nodded at each other and once the burly bodyguard descended down to the groups of people, Mark pulled away to the couches to get a hit before a party would hopefully unveil.

“Shots! Shots! Shots!” You could hear the words echoing through the limousine as the group of girls neared a local club that none of them had ever been to. Laughter could be heard erupting from inside as the driver opened up the door when they reached their destination. Soon, a group of five girls spilled out of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle were; Kiara, Genevieve, Rachel, Lindsey and Sherly. The girls had been bar hopping all night for Kiara’s bachelorette party. Kiara was Genevieve’s best friend, which meant that, as much as Genevieve hated getting drunk and partying, she would make the sacrifice tonight for her friend’s special night out. As always, Genevieve was the last one out of the vehicle. All of the other girls were pretty intoxicated, but she made sure to maintain a level head to keep the group under control. She looked one last time inside of the vehicle to ensure that nothing had been left behind and shortly after, she made her way to the group as they entered the club. The bouncers gave the girls a good look and let them in without even asking for ID or if they were on the list. Why wouldn’t they though? The group of girls were gorgeous and had caught everyone’s attention at every bar they had been to tonight. Genevieve had tried to be subtle, so as not to outshine the bride to be. However, her red dress and red lips made her fair skin and blue eyes pop even more than usual, which made her hard to miss, no matter how hard she tried to blend into the group of girls. As the group walked inside laughing and giggling, they instinctively gravitated towards the bar. Genevieve was the last to enter. As she made her way to the bar, she looked back at the bouncers and smiled at them. As a thank you for letting them in without reservations.

The five women had received a tray of shots and four of them were downing them one after the other, and Mark’s blue eyes were lazily following the action. Money were flying quickly with whatever the celebration was with them. But his interest was on the woman with the red dress. Not only because she looked like a fucking picture and the dress left both a lot and little to his imagination. He was sure he had seen her somewhere and knew the legs under that dress looked good enough to be wrapped around his waist.

He looked at Bill as he finally walked back up alone and rose the hand holding the but of the cigarette. “Get that group one of the good champagnes, and make sure the waitress shakes it enough for a shower, will you?” he said as he pointed at the group.

He continued leaning on the railing as he watched his order followed, a girl in a very short dress, part of the uniform, coming out from the back after a few minutes with a big bottle on a tray held up in the air, proceeding then to shake while what appeared to be the very inebriated part of the group laughed and then, even through the loud music, he could hear the hysterical laughter that followed while the liquid exploded once the cork was pulled off.

The music was booming around and the club was as packed as expected at 1am on a Friday night. Mark was sitting in the VIP balcony with the guards by the stairs to keep drunk people from trying to sneak up and hookup in the darkness. He was smoking the dozenth cigarette of the night while a girl was on her knees in front of him, pleasuring him without much of his notice but a hand in her hair to show her as not to stop.

His pale blue eyes had been roaming earlier, looking at faces before stopping on the petite with a sloppy but what seemed to be not very experienced mouth on him and he had decided that he wouldn’t see any other to interest him... right up until she had undid his fly and a group of women had walked in through the doors, lit up in neon lights falling from the ceiling.

Pushing the girl’s face lower so that he can release the building tension he closed his eyes for a few seconds, holding her close before letting her dive up for air, coughing.

“Thank you, love. You can keep ordering for free until the end of the night“ he smiled a cold smile at her before grabbing a tissue from the low table to get cleaned up and tucking himself in. He ignored her protest and the way her hands sneaked up his body as if to beg for more, motioning for Bill the bodyguard to take her down from the balcony. He rose up to let his eyes wander the group, wondering with very little interest if they were a wild group out for a bachelorette. He lit up another cigarette and leaned at the railing.
