There was a RVIVR show. At the merch table was a zine written anonymously by a person who committed sexual assault as a younger person. Erica of RVIVR pointed out that zine, said it was brave. Tumblr activist was there, got salty. Wrote tumblr post called RVIVR rape apologists. People saw it. Erica saw it, said brave may have been the wrong word for the zine, but doesn't take back pointing the zine. More people heard Tumblr activist than Erica.

Are these people fighting over the word ‘brave’?

Imagine being such a feckless nothing that this is your Normandy. Wrap your head around the idea that someone looked at the facts of this situation and decided, ‘yes, this is a fight worth having.’

I don’t understand why the girl from rvivr would apologize. That’s like a mentally ill homeless guy calling you a bitch and you turning and saying, ‘my fault.’ Why validate a loon with a response of any kind? And, if you can’t help yourself but to respond, at least make it condescending.
