Successful people

It's always refreshing to me when those who have achieved success in what it is that they are passionate about remain humbled by where they are. My good friend Zach who's band It Lies Within always amazes me. He never stops remembering how he got to where he is and where he came from. I would like to think I would be the same way but let's be honest here I'm a dick. I can say that I probably wouldn't have the resolve to remain as down to earth and thankful as Zach. This is just one thing that restores my faith in humanity these days. There isn't much else.

The day has arrived

Today is the day. My very first live broadcast. I am extremely nervous but this is something I've always wanted to do. Ever since I was a young boy I listened to the radio in admiration of those cryptic voices that broke through my speakers. I constantly did mock radio shows with cousins, and friends in which we pretended to be DJs. Now I can finally make those crazy ideas of one day being a radio personality a reality. Every Tuesday from 4-6 PM I can say I host the Pedal to the Metal show on WHFR Dearborn 89.3 FM. We also stream on www.WHFR.fm and the tune in radio app on smartphones and tablets.
