I need this.
Fude Samurai animated short part1 by Renato Roldan & Balieri studio.
This is beautiful. Love the notion of medium (in this case ink) being an integral element to the character.
Video emerges of Pittsburgh cop beating up teen
Only after assault charges against Pittsburgh police Sgt. Stephen Matakovich were dropped did the public get to see the video of him beating up a drunk teen.
The off-duty cop, working as a security guard, claimed that 19-year-old Gabriel Despres kept his hands in his pockets after being ordered to remove them and was therefore a “threat.”
A judge agreed Monday that Despres was the aggressor and dismissed the charges against Matakovich, reportedly to cheers among police gathered in the courtroom.
But now the FBI plans to review the case after the video of the Nov. 28, 2015 incident outside Heinz Field was posted online.
Though Matakovich claims to have been the victim, the video shows him shoving Despres to the ground and launching a brutal series of punches. Dupress lifts his arm at one point to shielf himself but does not appear to retaliate.

Juggling the Details of the ‘Hamilton’ Juggernaut (WSJ):
As the nation’s founding fathers strut and fret upon the stage of Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre, Jason Bassett plays an unseen role, perched on a snug triangular wooden platform about 10 feet above them.
While the cast of the smash-hit hip-hop musical “Hamilton” weaves through fast-paced raps and intricate wordplay, he follows them word for word, calling the show’s 856 lighting cues and 40 set cues with rapid-fire, split-second timing.
But overseeing the spectacle is just part of Mr. Bassett’s job as the musical’s production stage manager. Working six days a week, often 12 hours a day, he is responsible—with the help of two assistants—for managing the show’s behind-the-scenes aspects. That also includes organizing rehearsals, coordinating between creative and technical crews and solving problems, such as how to replace an ensemble member mid-show.

Have you had any mishaps?
We have mishaps all the time. Last week, one of our cast members came off the stage during the first act. She had tweaked her neck during a big dance number and she struggled to try to stay on as long as possible. As soon as I had a conversation with her, I told the swing to start getting ready and I told sound.
As soon as it’s comfortable, I make the switch. It’s actually a very smooth transition; the audience would never know. We’ve gotten fairly proficient at it because we’ve had to do it four or five times now.

I would reblog that. Or is there a special thing for tumblr, like tumble-bumble?

SUIT #1: Ah, I get it. In the book part, all the characters are played by dogs? VISIONARY: You get nothing.
I decided to make a searchable TCGS episode guide. You can preview it using the link above. The first page for each episode is general information about the episode. The following pages are more detailed, so it may contain spoilers for people who have not seen it yet. I made the guide for fans of the show who want to rewatch their favorite parts and for new fans that will be introduced to TCGS when it debuts on Fusion. I hope you guys like it.
You can download it below. The first link is a smaller file size, but it takes a whle to load the pages. The second link is bigger, but faster to load.

The amount of work put into this is tremendous. So well done. Big ups to Dustin.
This is incredible and everyone needs it.
It’s Time to Lose Well.
I made a poster. I tried to include as many people from TCGS as I possibly could while still maintaining some symmetry in the image. Whatever direction the show takes over these next couple of weeks, I’ll be along for the ride. If it’s going to stop, then it’ll stop. If it’s going to continue, then it’ll continue. I’m just happy to have stumbled across this little public access show on the internet a couple of months ago and subsequently the countless hours I’ve spent invested in these crazy motherfuckers. It has introduced me to a bunch of comedians, musicians, and friends that I could never replace in my life. And I can definitely say it has made me comfortable with never being the cool kid. Best of luck in “burning it down” (whatever that entails) in these next couple of episodes.
(side note: credit goes to jewel frankfeldt photography for taking the awesome pictures, I just cut em up)
Throwback to honor a new era
MD: Zuko’s conflict with his sister came to a head during the finale, when they fought each other in an almost-deadly Agni Kai. This emotionally charged duel was the highlight of the finale for us. Azula vs. Zuko key animation by Jung Hye Young and Yu Jae Myung. Designs by Angela Song Mueller.
Some of the most beautiful animation and poignant storytelling around.
