Prompt: Imagine Draco insulting Harry, who just cries because he’s having a shit day. Cue Draco panicking because he hadn’t been that mean and now he’s made the Saint cry.

Okay, so, I said I was writing this yesterday, and I did. I wrote a 5k thing that is still being Alpha’d. It was still inspired by the same prompt, butI got very carried away and I honestly don’t know if it even works. SO! I have also written this 😂 At some point I will upload the 5k thing (I’ve worked too damn hard on it to abandon it) and you can have a proper fic, but for now, enjoy this!! Sorry for the wait, I hope it satisfies your fluff and angst needs!

It just couldn’t get any worse.

Harry sighed as the laughs and gasps echoed around the Great Hall, drawing more stares from his fellow students and even the teachers. It took every ounce of his self-control to resist the urge to hex himself into oblivion.

On the table in front of him sat a Hagrid sized teddy bear, holding a heart the size of a human head, adorned with an arrow. It had taken 11 owls to carry it in, and had made the entire table jolt when it was dropped down, sending breakfasts everywhere flying.

It was in dire need of an Incendio.

Being the Chosen One in Eighth Year was proving to be more difficult than he anticipated. Each morning he was inundated with gifts, love letters, and thank you notes, each more embarrassing than the last, thanking him for defeating Voldemort, asking him on dates, and generally offering to worship his feet.

To make matters worse, he still wasn’t sleeping properly, being hounded by nightmares that detailed how The War could have ended, so he watched his friends die repeatedly every week. Those same friends had also all paired up in a Post-War love making frenzy, leaving him with lots of extra time on his hands whilst they engaged in activities he definitely didn’t want to be involved in. It wasn’t that he didn’t want them to be unhappy. Of course he did! He just didn’t expect relationships to take up so much time.

To top things off, NEWT level work was kicking his arse, even with the extra time he had to study. All he wanted was a quiet year, one where he didn’t have to worry about anything other than his school work. Why was that so difficult?!

As the laughter and staring continued, the glass eyes of the soulless bear baring into his own, he’d had enough.

“I’ll see you in Charms,” he quickly muttered to Hermione, leaving before she could form a word.

This just couldn’t possibly get any worse.

Draco grinned as he watched Potter storm out of the Great Hall in the wake of his loving fanmail. It honestly sickened him how much people adored Saint Potter, but seeing him getting frustrated with his gifts made it a little bit more bearable.

Throwing it in his face helped a lot.

Without saying a word, he quickly followed the Golden Boy, knowing his friends weren’t awake enough to miss him; no one really liked mornings in Slytherin. A flash of raven-hair down the corridor had his jogging to catch up.

“Off to make out with your lover, Potter?” He drawled to the unruly mess of hair.

“Poor them, I say. Who would want your ugly face and crooked glasses on theirs?!”

The sound of Malfoy’s laughter echoed off the stone walls, reverberating through him. He shook his head, trying to ignore the taunt and kept walking. To his annoyance, the sound of Malfoy’s footsteps followed him; each slap of leather on the concrete drawing more hairs on his neck upright.

What was that git’s problem?! Why couldn’t he just leave him alone? Couldn’t he see that he hated this?! Before he could put a decent distance between them, Malfoy’s sneering voice reached him again.

“The whole school knows you’re awful in bed too, Potter! You couldn’t even keep the Weaselette for a whole month!”

Cold slammed into him like a dragon protecting her offspring, forcing him to stop in the middle of the hallway. Rage boiled through him, crawling up his arms, his legs, squirming in his stomach. He shook, breath coming in gasps, tears forcing their way into his-

Harry swallowed as his anger was consumed almost instantly. He tried to keep his breathing even, he tried to calm down, but it was futile; his body betrayed him. Within seconds, he was drowning in a tidal wave of hysterical pain that originated from deep in his core, overwhelming his senses with a desire to wail in despair. He was powerless to resist or fight the tears that were spilling from his eyes.

Everything was just too much; he’d fought too long, too hard to pretend that everything was okay. He was done with being the Golden Boy, the Hero, the Boy Who Lived. He just wanted to be normal.

Draco paused his pursuit as Potter stopped. He was ready for the backlash, the sparring, the insults. He held his wand tightly in his hand, mentally selecting the spells he would fire first. He was prepared, he was waiting, all he needed was Potter to-

Draco watched as Potter’s muscles tensed repeatedly in his back, shoulders shaking ever so slightly, hand swiping at brought his face.

He edged forward, half expecting the Gryffindor to turn and fire a hex at him.

The quivering of the man’s shoulders became more insistent, more jagged, and another gasp met Draco’s ears.

As he stepped in front of The Boy Who Lived, his stomach dropped to the floor.

Potter was crying.

Not just crying, but sobbing. Strangled, choked little sobs he was obviously trying and failing to contain, were bursting past his lips.

How had he made the Saint cry? He hadn’t been that mean, had he?! Why was the Great Harry Potter reduced to a weeping mess at having his sexual prowess insulted? Everyone knew he could have any girl or guy he wanted! He was their Saviour!

As Potter continued to choke in front of him, Draco’s mouth started working on its own.

“Potter, I’m sorry, please stop crying, I didn’t mean it! You know anyone would be honoured to have you! I was just playing around, honest!”

His words were doing nothing, if anything, Potter was crying harder now, body wracked by the sobs that he could no longer contain. Draco ran a hand through his hair, searching the corridor for inspiration. If anyone found out he’d reduced the great Harry Potter to a weeping mess, he was done for!

Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! You stupid boy, what’s wrong with you?! Pull yourself together!

But it was no use, the seal had been opened, the plug had been pulled, and the emotion was unstoppable.

As Malfoy rambled on beside him, Harry felt his control slip even further, tears hot and fast streaming down his face as the sobs were ripped from his throat, more frequent now, causing his breath to judder more violently.

He tried to shake his head, to communicate that Malfoy had basically nothing to do with this; it wasn’t his fault.

But he couldn’t.

He was stuck, completely at the mercy of his emotions, stood like a pillock in the middle of the corridor for all the world to see.

Just perfect.

An idea struck him. Literally struck him. He felt the pain in his head from where it landed.

It was crazy. It was stupid. It would never work and would land him several punches to boot. Punches which, for once, he wouldn’t contest.

But as green fluid threatened to escape from Potter’s nose, Draco knew he had to do something.

It was the only idea he had.

Harry jumped as something warm and solid wrapped around him, pressing close. Foreign scents struggled through his congested nostrils, interrupting the storm of emotion, and the sound of awkward shushing filled his ears. His head was gently guided onto a hard surface, chest pulled close to warmth, and something was moving his hair softly, rhythmically. As a hand settled around his back, he realised with a start that Malfoy was hugging him.

His insides squirmed, desperately wanting to push him away; it was bad enough crying in the first place, especially over something as stupid as a teddy bear and a few insults. He needed to get a hold of himself. But his emotions had other ideas.

Unbidden, one hand latched onto Malfoy, gripping his clothes tightly as if to prevent him moving away. His head readjusted, finding the hollow of the other man’s collar bone, relishing the faint heat he could feel through it. His other arm wound around Malfoy’s slender back, anchoring him to his chest.

It was pathetic. It was stupid. But as his tears continued to fall, hiccups and sobs rampaging through him, it made him feel just a little bit better; safer.

As Malfoy adjusted against him, his hand clenched around the man’s shirt once more, one thought running through his mind: Please don’t leave me.

Draco could barely breathe. This couldn’t be happening. The Saviour of the Wizarding World could not be sobbing into his neck like a child!

But, as the wet patch on his shirt grew and the fist threatened to tear a hole in his uniform, Draco had to admit, it was undeniable; he’d become Potter’s comfort blanket.

The man shook against him, still sobbing in earnest. At a loss for what else to do, Draco hummed slightly, running his fingers through Potter’s (surprisingly silky) locks. A strangled cry punctuated the sobs and sniffles, giving him pause. Did Potter not want that?

A few seconds later, the first coherent words he’d heard from Potter all morning were whispered against his neck.

“Thank you.”

Swallowing his shock and confusion, Draco merely nodded, squeezing Potter closer as the man continued to cry.

If this was what Potter needed, this was what Potter would get.

Summary: You are trying to relax in your secret place in the barrens when you hear some strange noises upon investigating you hear screams coming from one of the pipes.  

Warnings: Horror themes, Mentions of smoking, Mentions of blood

Type: Angst, Some fluff if you squint 

Author’s Note: It’s a long one. I kinda got carried away :P 

Teachers like Mrs. miller really made your blood boil how she would just get mad at a kid having a bad day or if they turned in their homework late, she made anyone in her class lives hell between her and your now ex-best friend Greta today was terrible, You had told Greta some secrets you were hoping she would keep to herself but instead she shared them with everyone, who now judged you for them. 

You glanced out the window seeing the school parking lot your red mustang shinning in the sun, you couldn’t wait to hear that bell ring so you could go have some time to yourself finally, you didn’t want to deal with the teachers, Greta and her friends or Chris, a boy who annoyed you all the time asking if you wanted to hang out after school you wasn’t the only one he asked he asked everyone it was quite strange, preoccupied with your thoughts you didn’t even notice you had been blocking out your teacher and she had noticed.

 “Y/n please tell me when you’re ready to join us again” Ms.Miller said in a snarky tone you simply nodded but she wasn’t going to take that as an answer,  “are you ready” Ms.Miller asked sounding sarcastic, “yes I’m ready” you say earning a glare from your teacher you sighed checking the clock, watching the clock like a hawk you started collecting your things closing your book, “It’s not time yet y/n” Mrs. Miller said in her annoying tone of voice which gave you an instant headache.

Just as you were about to answer her the bell rang and you smirked at her being the first out of your seat and then out into the halls, you ran your fingers through your hair taking a deep breath as you finally got to your locker, you tossed your books inside and grabbed your keys not blinking an eye as you made your way through the flood of kids which were all in the hallway, you jogged to the parking lot which didn’t take long, as soon as you got to your car and shut your car door you pulled out your pack of smokes and lit one up before throwing the car into reverse and speeding out of the parking lot.

Hearing a whistle from one of the bowers gang Belch, he had a thing for cars you found out and he admired your car as it sped past him and his friends who were waiting on the new kid, you turned on the radio and it blasted through your ears the stress of everything just clouding your mind, you had decided to go to your little getaway you had found on the other side of the barrens a little area where you could park your car and simply relax listening to the water and your radio plus sunbathe if you wanted to, nobody bothered you there you never told anyone about the spot since you deemed it was yours, carving your initials on one of the tree’s in the area letting others know it was already claimed. 

As you pulled up to the familiar spot you felt relief hit you as you put your car in park and opened the door, going to sit on the hood of your Mustang while the music blared out of the speakers, you slowly nodded your head taking another drag from the cigarette, you leaned back on your back and closed your eyes trying to fully let everything stress wise leave your mind, you soon heard some noises and it was loud enough to make you sit up from where you were sitting, you got up and turned down the radio in your car and shut it off listening,

From what you could hear sounded like it was somebody trying to run through the water a little bit below where you were, you took a deep breath and decided to check it out even though your gut told you to leave, you made your way down the small hill and noticed Patrick Hockstetter going into a pipe which could only lead to one place why on earth was he going in there, curiosity got the better of you and you slowly walked through the little bit of water and rocks slipping on a few rocks one making you fall and hit your knee. 

You were able to keep your mouth shut and not cry out in pain as the rock-cut your knee a little, you were able to get up but now had a little limp from the pain only to hear a scream coming from the pipe, you frowned could that have been Patrick you thought, you finally got so you were in the opening of the pipe “Patrick?” you said hearing another cry of pain, you bit down on your bottom lip as the fear of going into the darkness filled you everything was telling you to leave to run as far as you could, but you again ignored this feeling and felt your heart drop as you entered the pipe.

You walked through the water which came up past your ankles it was hard to move through, “Patrick” you called out again this time hearing splashing noises you went faster going through the water, turning the corner of the pipe to see Patrick laying there against the pipe walls breathing heavy, you rushed over to him seeing he had blood covering him when he noticed you, he reached out for you at first, but then froze looking at you in pure fear a face you never thought you would see Patrick of all people have, that’s when you felt large hands grab you and throw you against the pipe walls hitting your back and head against it.

You yelled in pain looking up to see who it was who had done it, only to see him the one you the man you feared most Michael Myers, he charged at you swinging that long blade of his cutting your arm as you reached up to block yourself, you again cried out in pain Patrick forced himself up and pushed Michael into the wall and started punching his head in as hard as he could, you got up and tried to have Patrick stop so you both could leave, but Michael seemed to morph into a zombie trying to bite at Patrick’s face, which made Patrick scream.

You picked up a rock from the edge of the water and went after the Zombie attacking Patrick, hitting it as hard as you could seeing it blood go over both you and Patrick, that was when it turned to you again this time morphing into a xenomorph from Alien, the thing hissed at you making you back away as its jaws opened revealing that second mouth, that was when it’s wild tail whipped around and hit right next to your head you screamed out in terror, as the thing rushed at you it hit you in the face knocking you against the wall choking you while holding you up, you noticed the sight of Patrick in pure fear at what he was seeing almost looking like he could pass out.

“Go Patrick” you managed to whisper out hoping at least one of you would make it out alive, Patrick looked over at the way out then back to you seeing the alien open it’s jaws close to your face, while it’s tail cut your torso you felt tears rolling down your cheeks looking at the thing which haunted your nightmares, then you heard the alien scream out in pain it dropped you, realizing you fell into the water below you, that was when you noticed Patrick had stabbed the thing in the back a few times, but the blood wasn’t alien blood it was regular red blood the alien blood would have eaten through the knife and Patrick’s hand if it had been the real alien’s blood.

You seen Patrick then pick up a pipe and hand it to you which you knew exactly what to do with it you smacked the alien, overseeing the damage you and Patrick were doing that was when Patrick stopped and grabbed your arm rushing you both through the watery pipe, it was hard to keep up the pace with Patrick’s long legs but you felt something grab at your ankle which couldn’t be possible, it stopped you both as it started to drag you under the water “Patrick!!!” you screamed, almost being pulled all the way under the dark cloudy water but Patrick kept his hand in yours and pulled on your arm with both of his hands finally pulling you away from whatever the thing was.

You both were able to make it out of the pipe back into daylight, you looked back at the pipe seeing what looked like to be a clown waving at you smiling an evil grin, “Come on y/n!” Patrick shouted dragging you away from the pipe “Wait my car I have my car” you said, leading you and Patrick back to where your car was trying to get up the little hill was harder now with both of your injuries, Patrick almost falling down but you helping his tall lanky body up the hill, you both got into your car and you started it up and quickly made it out of there speeding down the little road, which leads back to the main roads of Derry you glanced over at Patrick who seemed to be in complete shock.

He was staring ahead of him with a blank look on his face his hands slightly twitching back and forth, you tried to calm yourself but you could still feel your heartbeat in your throat, You wasn’t sure exactly where Patrick lived at so you just drove to your house since it was close, as soon as you pulled into the driveway you shut the car off and sat there for a moment trying to catch your breath, you noticed Patrick still looking to be in shock you opened your door and then felt his hands grab your arm which made you jump “Don’t leave me alone” Patrick pleaded with a shaky voice.

His grip on your arm was super tight “I won’t.. I promise” you say “I just wanted to get you inside it’s safer than out here” you say, seeing Patrick nod and slowly let go of your arm you both got out of your car and headed inside of your house, Patrick just followed you up to the bathroom as soon as you both got inside you closed the door and locked it, leaning your head against the door you took a moment to gather yourself before turning to Patrick who just sat on the edge of the bathtub, still that blank stare you snapped out of it and quickly got a washrag and started cleaning up his wounds which he let you do.

Once you were done you got a new washrag and cleaned yourself up just looking at the rags soaked with what looked like mud and blood, which made you cringe “You can shower in here if you want I can wash your clothes” you said, looking over at Patrick who didn’t say a word he just started taking off his shirt you turned around giving him some privacy, while you heard his jeans and belt hit the ground that was when he kicked all his clothes to you so you didn’t have to turn around, “I’ll bring you some new clothes then I’m gonna jump in the shower downstairs” you said, hearing the shower head turn on you wasn’t expecting an answer but you wanted Patrick to know what you were doing.

You went and gathered some of your dad’s clothes and put them on the toilet for Patrick, you quickly made it to the shower down stairs with a fresh pair of clothes for you as well, feeling the warm water hit you felt like heaven you washed up and finally felt clean again, when you were done you got out and got dressed in your pj’s and left to throw yours and Patrick’s clothes in the washer hoping it all would wash out, when you turned around you jumped seeing Patrick standing there towering over you, he looked slightly less in shock that was when you took his hand in yours and took him up to your bedroom, where you both got in your bed and cuddled up under the covers.

Patrick holding you extremely close to him “You saved me…….thank you” you heard him whisper “Anytime Hockstetter”, you say laying your head on his chest and wrapping your arms around him, “Can I stay here tonight…I don’t think I’ll make it to my house and stay sane after what happened” Patrick whispers, “Of course you can stay here” you say “I know I’m not your favorite person in the world it’s just” Patrick was saying before cutting himself off.

“Patrick you may not be my favorite person but I don’t mind this, I like it actually I mean we did survive together” you say feeling Patrick pull you closer to him, if that was even possible then you felt him softly kiss your forehead, you felt yourself blush slightly still surprised Patrick could be like this but even if it was for the time being you were going to take it and try and close your eyes………….

What the Bowers Boys are insecure about and how their s/o helps them deal with it?

Henry is insecure about his emotional outbursts and how weak he feels compared to his father. Whenever he lashes out in anger in front of you, he feels awful for hours afterwards, but you always do your best to comfort him. You maintain eye contact, hold his hands gently, and remind him that it’s okay to have feelings. His worst moments, though, are when his dad embarrasses him or hits him while you’re around. He dissolves into an emotional wreck, and while you’re always quick to diffuse the situation and help calm Henry down, he feels like such a failure. He always thinks you must see him as a worthless shell of a man, but you remind him he couldn’t be more wrong. You tell him how much you love him and how much you appreciate all the things he does for you. If it’s been a really bad day for him, sometimes you’ll even dramatically reenact the last time he beat the shit out of someone, which he thinks is hilarious, since you’re just ‘so cute and docile’.

Patrick, although he hides it well, is extremely insecure about what you think of him as his s/o. Of course, he’s usually very cocky and confident, but he can’t help but worry that you believe all the shit people say about him and maybe even think he’d do things of that nature to you. He knows he’s done a lot of terrible things, but he’d never do anything like that to you. He just hopes you know that too. Sometimes this would consume him, making him very possessive and jealous when he sees you talking to other people. You’d get frustrated at first, not realizing why he was being so controlling, but when he began stumbling on his words, you figured it out. You knew he’d never admit this himself, and you didn’t want to make him either, so you’d make it a habit to vocalize your feeling a bit more. It didn’t seem like much, but the constant and subtle reassurance made him feel so much better.

Belch is insecure about his appearance in comparison to the rest of the gang. Although they weren’t very popular, they did get the occasional attention of some girls, but they never seemed to direct anything towards him. He couldn’t help but notice girls smiling and looking at Patrick, Victor, and Henry whenever they went out, but never at him. It never bothered him too much since you were the only girl in his heart, but it still gave him his doubts about how he appeared. He felt really pathetic when he finally told you about his insecurities, but you assured him that everyone feels like this at some point or another and comforted him as best you could, giving him lots of cuddles and kisses. Especially in front of the gang.

Victor, although he loves the gang, is really insecure about being lumped in with them regarding their thoughts and actions. He’s always especially worried that you think he’s violent and rude just like his friends. Because of this, he makes an extra effort to be soft, sweet, and caring towards you to make sure you know he’s not exactly like them. You see right through this, of course, but since he can be pretty shy at times you decide to go about the situation in a different way. Whenever he starts acting this way, you begin to act the same way by calling him loads of pet names and giving him a barrage of cheek kisses until he playfully swats you away, smiling thoughtfully as he realizes you’re trying to tell him how silly he’s being, thinking you’d judge him so harshly.
