recently I had a talk with a group of friends about a humanitarian organization that some of us donate to, and which helps those of us in the direst of situations: extremely poor, ill, disabled, Serbs living in impossible conditions in Kosovo etc etc, and they really do an amazing job about it

so this one liberal friend said "i don't know man, I wouldn't want to support that" - "ok, why?" - "I don't know, something is suspicious about that, feels to me like they hate other nations"

???

this is what it boils down to - acts don't matter, only words and feelings do. it doesn't matter how much you helped thousands of people already, how many children spent the first in many winters with a roof over their heads, none of that is good enough because it "sounds kinda fascisty to me"
