We both know that I’m the one with the crown and you’re the one with the ass.
But baby, make love to me. When my days look low, pull me in close and don't let me go, make love to me.
That’s the difference between you and I, Mar.
That's okay, because you the best, you deserve a crown, bitch. Right on that ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass.
I’m only caving if you stop dancing on me, because you know it’s not fair to do that. I’m on my period.
But all of me loves all of you. All your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections.
John Legend | All of Me
I took a nap and now I'm really hyper and I can't stop singing and dancing and no one will be able to stop me.
Ash and I are trying to play video games in peace!
Excuse me, why wasn't I informed?
I don't know how I haven't strained my voice with how loud I've been singing for the past two hours. Literally, non-stop. Whistle notes and all. I'm like God. Or Mariah Carey
Shopping Trip
From the moment she woke up, Brogan already knew what she had in mind for that day. It was something she hadn’t done in a while and although she would usually rather do something less, well, girly, she was in the mood for a shopping trip. There was so many things to be bought and ever since she’s been putting aside money from her job at Starbucks, she finally had the money to spend. For about a year now, the red head requested to try and do this on her own, with Elliot, without the help of her Dad’s trust fund. They’d been struggling a little in the beginning, but that just meant she had to get a job. Plus, it gave Greg Ellis an excuse to send a check to Elliot once a month. They had been using that money for date nights or groceries, but mostly, they were saving it. She enjoyed this feeling. She felt like she could live like this for the rest of her life. Brogan was already in the middle of straightening her hair when Marley replied. She wasn’t surprised that she had said yes. She put her phone down and finished her hair and makeup. Fishing through her closet, she settled for a beige skirt on top of a pair of printed stockings. On her feet, she wore open-toed wedges and on her upper half, she tucked in a loose white t-shirt underneath a navy cardigan. Once she was ready, she plopped on the couch next to Elliot, tossing her legs over his lap. Of course, he gave her some kind of cheesy compliment, but that didn’t stop her from blushing. Within moments of talking about nothing, their lips were connected. “Elliot,” She spoke in between each kiss. “I have to go.” She tried to pull away but realized she didn’t have to when Marley barged into their house. She stood as quickly as the blonde appeared. “Bye, babe!” Brogan walked with Marley outside the apartment. “Sorry! It wasn’t my fault I swear.” She promised, letting out a laugh. She walked to the right side of her car, opening the door for Marley before going to the driver’s side. It had taken her some time to get used to the opposite-side driving, but now, it came naturally. Brogan drove the two downtown to a shopping center. Honestly, she didn’t know how she was going to survive. She’d probably want everything.
Marley rolled her eyes with a smirk as she settled into the car. "Yeah right, we all normally watch you tackle him." She shrugged, earning herself a smack from the other girl. "Alright, alright, chill out. My bad, okay? I'll blame it on Elliot on the sake of this shopping trip. I've been wanting to get back to it ever since I woke up. Ava would complain too make if I brought her with me, Ashton has kind of been avoiding me, for a reason I don't know, Holly's been up Luke's ass, which he's still too stupid to realize she's totally in love with him. And then there's you, which I've been avoiding to ask because I didn't know if it'd be bad to be on your feet that long because of the baby, and there's no way I'd ever go shopping with Elliot, no way in hell." With a shake of her head, Marley turned to look to her right, smiling at Brogan. "Speaking of the baby, how's he or she doing? You're sporting the cutest little bump ever! I can't wait to meet them, I'm so excited to be an aunt, you have no clue." She giggled softly. "We're definitely shopping for baby stuff today. For the neutral colors, anyway. There's no way around it." It wasn't a lie at all. Babies were one of Marley's favorite things, and she couldn't help but freak out every time a baby was mentioned. She grew up with tons of dolls, only making her want a big family when it was her time to come. Though, at the moment, she wasn't thinking about starting a family with Ava because of how early it was in their relationship, but she felt that Ava wouldn't like the idea of having little ones running around their house, especially not a lot of them like Marley wanted. Which is exactly why she fell in love with her brother's baby the second Brogan's tear filled voice told her she was pregnant. "Have you two talked about names yet? I know El likes the names Landon and Ashton for a boy, but there's too many to list for girls. That doesn't surprise me at all though. Elliot just... seems like the type that would fall in love with his little girl the second he lays his eyes on her. It's cute, actually. Don't tell him I said that though, or I'll never come shopping with you again."
Shopping Trip
Being that she only woke up a little less than a month ago, Marley still had a ton of catching up to do with everyone. She even missed Christmas and it broke her on the inside. Of course, now that she an Ava were officially a couple now, she knew Ava was going to try to be by her side as much as possible to make sure she's better and to be able to just be with her whenever she could. Which, obviously, Marley wouldn't complain about. She liked the girl a lot and any time Ava wanted to be with her, Marley would happily comply. But, as soon as Marley got the text from Brogan about shopping, she quickly responded with a yes, jumping up to get ready. She didn't ask Ava at all, knowing the blonde would immediately reject the offer and sit back and play her video games with Elliot and Ashton. But the two other girls never cared, it was time to themselves without having people rush them to be done. She threw on some leggings, a long sweater, and some boots before doing her hair and makeup. "Babe, I'm going out with Brogan, go hang out with Elliot or whatever," she said as she walked into the room they had just began to share. Though she knew Ava's way of doing things when Marley wasn't around, she still knew that Ava and Ashton weren't getting along and no one would tell her why. But it was their business and she wasn't going to press the situation and make her girlfriend upset. She walked over to the bed and gently pressed a kiss to her lips with a smile, walking out. "I'll call you later!" Grabbing her keys, Marley left the apartment and locked the door behind her, only to walk to their neighbors and open up that door, calling for Brogan's name. She walked around the house in search of food and the red head, finally rolling her eyes as she came across Brogan and her brother kissing. "Excuse me, I'm stealing her, have fun with yourself." She grabbed Brogan's arm with a smirk and giggled, dragging her out of the apartment. "How are you going to tell me to go shopping with you and then make out with my brother instead of waiting for me?"
Be proud of where you are today and how far you’ve come on your journey. You are exactly where you are supposed to be.

Ava didn’t even let the girl finish talking before she began to shake her head. “No, no, no.” She said, finally mustering up the courage to look in to Marley’s eyes. “I didn’t do anything, I swear.” She was lying, well almost. She never did anything but drown herself in sorrows and a ton of alcohol. That was always the blonde’s way of grieving and Ashton, being her best friend, knew that already. But, he still yelled at her every time she got this way. “Just know that I’m sorry, okay? I haven’t been here as much as Brogan or Elliot or Ashton. And I’m sorry.” She sighed heavily. “Even Holly’s been here more than me.”
"Yes you have." Marley said in a matter of a fact voice. "You've been here everyday, from my memory, and I'm glad you have been. There's been times when I haven't heard Ashton's voice and I've heard yours. I'm not saying he's only been here once or twice, but you've been here enough. Granted, he spends almost all day with me and you're only here for a little bit of time, it doesn't mean any worse to me." Marley said, looking into Ava's eyes. "I accept your apology, but I don't think you should have apologized."

Ava squeezed Marley’s hand gently once their fingers were intertwined. “No..” She shook her head when the girl asked for another kiss. There wasn’t anyway she was going to take her girlfriend’s air for her own satisfaction. Nodding, she sighed. “Yeah. I am.” She coughed out whatever tear was still choking her. “I tried to call Ashton, but none of them really like me right now.” And it was true. They were all super pissed and if anything, they were more pissed now that Ashton most likely ran to tell them about what she’s been up to.
Marley pouted at Ava's refusal, but melted in touch as the grip grew stronger on her hand. "Wait, why? Why would none of them like you? What'd you do?" Marley sighed, knowing it probably wouldn't be something she wanted to hear. Part of her wanted to let go of Ava's hand, not really knowing what was ahead of her. She didn't know if it would break her heart or if it was all just something Ava did in general. "Please tell me."

Ava was extremely disappointed when she got caught in Ashton’s voicemail within the first ten seconds of the call. He, clearly, sent her there because he refused to talk to her. Honestly, Ava couldn’t blame him. She had been a bitch to him and it had taken until Marley woke up for her to realize it. She didn’t hang up, though, as she normally would have instead of leaving a message. “Ash,” The blonde was crying harder than she was to him back at the apartment. “I-It’s Marley… she’s awake.” She turned back to the girl in the bed. “I’m not lying. I swear.” That was the last thing she spoke before she hung up and wandered back over to Marley. “R-Really?” She was genuinely surprised that her friend actually agreed to be her girl. Not thinking, she kissed Marley on the lips. It was a limp kiss, assuming because the other girl still hardly had any feeling in her body. But, Ava didn’t care.
Marley tried her hardest to keep the kiss going, but her lungs burned from lack of air. She pulled back and coughed a bit, closing her eyes as she felt weak again. Regaining her strength, she looked back up at Ava with a soft laugh. "Well, one, yes, really, and two, I don't have a lot of air, but I'd like you to kiss me again because... wow." She joked, using everything she had in her to reach out and grab Ava's hand, lacing their fingers. She had never seen the other girl so vulnerable and it honestly left her in awe to know that she trusted Marley now and that she'd do anything to be with her. "Are you the only one here?"

"I never said I didn’t need her." She spat at Ashton, as she tasted the salt of her own tears. Ava turned to leave, although she heard him answer her. She didn’t have anything more to say with him, though. "I’m going out." She didn’t feel the need to keep him updated on her whereabouts, so, instead of saying anything more, she walked out the door and out of the building, towards her car. In the driver’s seat, she dried her tears. She had to be strong for where she was about to go. She had to be strong for Marley. Speeding her way to the hospital, she made it there in just a few minutes. Instead of using the door, she walked around the side, climbing a very familiar tree to the window of Marley’s room. Once she fell into the window almost soundlessly, she wandered to her friend’s bedside. "Marley," She whispered in the same tone she used every time she visited the girl. "Don’t worry, I’m here now." A tear accidentally escaped, and she brushed it away as fast as it had come out before grabbing Marley’s hand.
Though Marley couldn't move or feel anything, she heard absolutely everything that happened from her. From nurses, to her brother's fears, to Brogan's pleads, to Ashton's failed jokes, to Ava's tears. It pained her each and every time Ava came to visit her. It's not like she wasn't hurt every other time someone came in and prayed for her to wake up, but she cared so deeply about Ava that she knew she was hurting her so much more than everyone else. As she sat listening to the beeping of her heart monitor and the air being pumped into the tubes connected through her nose, Marley heard a familiar voice. One that made her brain scream. She knew Ava was here and if it were possible, she'd never make her leave. She wanted to hear it again, she had to. But there was nothing she could do.
