facts i think need to be kept in mind when looking at trinity's hatred for/fear of langdon:
she was sexually abused as a child by a male authority figure
her childhood best friend killed herself because of their rapist
langdon is a male authority figure who is commiting a crime
langdon is a father. he has access to children
trinity, on the same day, watched her department collectively decide not to report a man for raping his daughter
because of comments i am getting:
this is a post listing the information that trinity santos is taking in and processing as someone with severe trauma from male authority figures
i am not trinity santos
none of what the points that are listed are my conclusions on the characters. i'm listing factual information that the show gives us
reread the post and note that i never condemn langdon for anything or express a personal opinion on who he is as a person
if you feel like i implied something and you are upset about said implication, either ask me for clarification or take a break and do some breathing exercises
A favorite from my collection - this luminous little one from the 1960s. Thank you so much for all the donations to our local shelter animals yesterday, everyone. You lifted my spirits at a time when I really needed it. 💕 If you missed it, I'm running a fundraiser for our local animal shelter for my birthday this month! https://givebutter.com/mollys-birthday-for-shelter-kitties-yrubxt

its awesome that neither mind reading nor god are real and all of the thoughts inside of your head are completely private and consequenceless forever #myprivacy

(could be part 2 of "Did you know Trinity is a Scorpio?" because it just represents her #ToMe -- hidden amongst needles in a deserted land, to protect one of the kindest hearts outthere ❤️🩹) // repaint of a photo from a photoshoot of Drew Barrymore by Mario Sorrenti!

As a principled feminist I'm often tempted to say shit like "are men capable of higher thought" but then I have to remember not to perpetuate gender essentialism and change it to "why do men choose not to think about anything"
ever since i was a little girl i knew i wanted to put no effort into my appearance
do you ever feel yourself fail a charisma check in real time
