I would love for this movie to be recognized for any of it’s amazing talents. But I think we all know the more abstract a film (not to mention R rating) the less likely it will be recognized by the “Academy.” It won at Cannes, and I think that mattered a lot to everyone working on it.

Not that I speak for any of them, don’t know them; just loved the art they gifted the world.

Adam was the sex they were selling for this movie and frankly I think it is a good step toward equality. It is always women in the shower scenes, or stripping before bed.
