Hi hi! I'm back from game making and the resulting death from lack of sleep! Now I'm alive again! Come check out my game here!! It's inspired by Off and Okami and Klonoa, so if you like any of those games, go play it! You should comment on it, and maybe vote for it if you feel like you want to go through making an account...which is stupid, I don't know why they set it up that way but oh well. I'm back! I made this necklace for my jewelry/metals class final! The assignment was to make a hollow form necklace (using soldering techniques) inspired by architecture.

I took inspiration from Egyptian pyramids and UFOs' strangely specific forms. I also included elements of natural architecture, such as lotus seed pods, that instilled a sense of fear to make the piece pretty but slightly unsettling overall. In the end, I wanted my necklace to look like it was an ancient artifact from outer space. The top part of the hollow form, the wire and the toggle are brass, the sides and back of the hollow form are copper with liver of sulfur patina; the whole thing was soldered together, filed and sanded thoroughly.

This project was fun to make and I found out I really love soldering! I am super proud of it because it turned out exactly like how I planned, which almost never happens! YAY TRIANGLES!
