jellyfish zora who is very shy and hides underwater all the time but will talk to you if you give her a cooked crab. and glows at night. would you be her friend

Here we have Anselm, relaxing in a portion of his garden. Sword and shield at rest, he enjoys a cup of bitter fern stalk tea while burning incense from his home empire. A perfect moment of respite for our great warrior.

Tesni, Twilit Wanderer

When Cia opened various portals across time, a kind and gentle young Twili was suddenly pulled through one of them…but it would not be the first time a malicious entity had summoned her to a new world. A close confidant to Midna, Tesni was once stolen from her home in the Twilight Realm and taken to the Era of the Sky by Ghirahim in his plot to resurrect Demise once more. Not only did she manage to return home, but she brought with her a powerful ally in the Demon Lord. To reunite with her companions and find her way home once again, Tesni wields both inherent Twili magic and spells taught to her by Ghirahim, combining them into an offensive light-based essence that is as dazzling as it is deadly.

I'm getting back into Hyrule Warriors for the millionth time and I've always thought about what my OCs/self inserts would be like as warriors...but now I actually did something with it sfskdjgf. more stuff under the cut 👀

Tesni's weapon would be a ball of magic called Essence, but I had the idea that it would specifically be made of the same red light from the summoning ritual Ghirahim performed to bring her to his world...and then he subsequently taught her how to use it~

I also wanted to put her in some fancy outfits, cause most everyone gets a glowup in Warriors and also new costumes 👀 She gets one based on Ghirahim (or more accurately based on an old outfit I imagine he gave her once), and then a more traditional Twili-looking one. I'm really happy with how they turned out~

also here's some versions without the light in the way so you can see the whole outfit, and also no clothes so you can see all her markings~

I actually had vague ideas for them a few years ago but I wanted to flesh them out a little more 👀 also I think I wanted to write more in the images but I got too excited and wanted to post them right away 👉🏻👈🏻

Back to college!

So I recently started college classes again with the goal to not work at a crappy job and work towards an eventual entomology degree! Spek, on the other hand, doesn't seem so eager to learn...

I had a dream a few years ago (though I only drew this today) about a tradition among Mudokons called "loveties" (pronounced love ties), which were trinkets that certain Muds shared when they had formed an intensely close bond with one another. It could be romantic, platonic, spiritual, any kind of bond, but gifting a lovetie symbolized that they were closer to each other than to anyone else and it couldn't be any stronger...basically soulmates. It also showed that a Mud was already "spoken for," in a sense (though now that I think about it, I...don't know if that makes a lot of sense for the universe. but it still sounds nice to me dfkjg)

Loveties took all kinds of different forms but were always handmade by the gifter. The one I saw someone wearing in the dream was a tooth on a thin leather necklace (like in the picture), but I wanted to come up with more designs, so I did a bracelet and an ear cuff. I figure loveties would generally be made with stuff like wood, stones and animal hides, but I also thought it would be interesting if they incorporated the gifter's own feathers. I think it would be a really meaningful/intimate thing, giving someone a piece of themselves.
