some doodles! my friends and i have started a doujinshi circle and we’re gonna start off with a kagehina work, so i’ve been practicing lots of haikyuu...

felt like doodling today and i made my and my bro’s ( cindyintheskywithdiamonds ) saniwa ocs, chie and misao! chie is a history nerd and misao is a sword whisperer♪

I made a saniwa!! She’s the daughter of a swordsmith and has quite a bit of skill herself in making/keeping swords, but she’s nowhere near mastering the art. She’s always sensed a life of sorts in the swords her family creates - when she was little, she would tell her father she could hear their voices, but he always treated it like little kid talk. Becoming a saniwa was her way of reconciling the feeling she’d gotten from swords all her life.

She’s righteous but likes to tease. She summons the sword spirits just to talk sometimes, but she finds Ichigo Hitofuri the easiest to get along with, because he’s very organized. She makes sure to keep all the swords in great condition for battle! She’s very sympathetic, but sometimes assumes things about how others are feeling, and ends up pushing her ideas on people without realizing it.
