There is a heavy theme in Helion’s overall character arch that deals with his loss of autonomy after becoming a host. The parasite itself has connected him to this legacy of previous hosts without warning and seemingly (to him) without much reason. and while he’s very curious to learn about the vast ways of life, he does have to grapple with the fact that the only reason he still has his life, is because his body is useful for something else.
