i just realized that even their personality and soul cards makes sense.
For BB; 08.11.1985 his cards are the devil and the lovers. like, his whole deal is being obsessive, bonded and addicted.
The Devil; sophisticated, ambitious and relentless; driven to possess and achieve; always competitive, every gain matched by an equal loss; practical and self sufficient, happiness is in accompaniment.
The Lovers; young, fresh and curious; charmed by life and its possibilities; always connected to a living partner or a vibrant abstraction; all joy is in the sharing
BUT the shadow side of the lovers card reveals self abandonment, codependency and external validation. and the shadow side of the devil embodies hidden fears, suppressed desires, addiction and toxic attachments.
For Lane; 21.05.1985 his cards are Death and The Emperor.
guess what. the shadow side of the emperor is The Fool which makes him this reckless, carefree and boundry-less fool. sounds familiar, no?
and the shadow emperor is as you might think, not disciplined, too messy and a person who always runs from responsibilities. doesn’t care about rules whatsoever.
so what i’m saying is Lane isn’t what his cards are supposed to be but in the shadow side of them. giving him a new purpose (like MC picking his route) will make him come to his real self. you’re not delusional if you think you can fix him lmao that’s literally all it takes.
For Amelia; 06.12.1983 her cards are The Hanged Man and The Empress (Lane is The Emperor so… coincidence? lol.) She’s a person with lots of creativity and intuition.
given that Lane is obviously the shadow of his cards she had to grow and try to look through the world from the emperor’s card. she had to be the mom of their sibling relationship that’s why she had to control everything which tired the hell out of her. She’s in between of being herself and trying to keep him in the line. her conscience (The Empress card) can’t let him be and rot on his own because that’s what she’s grew up with. she just can’t not care that’s why she’s in her shadow side.
i kinda wanna give RB my own cards which are The Tower and The Chariot which makes sense for him (i know i should be giving them to MC since i’m the player here but she’s obviously not these cards lol)
why? you might ask. The Tower is all about destruction, learning and moving forward. He is brutally honest sometimes to a point of discomfort because this card refuses a false life and superficiality. always pushing boundaries breaking walls. could be seen as an egomaniac and a narcissist.
that’s where the Chariot comes in. A person of sheer willpower, ambition and drive. a literal no bullshit man because of his determination. literally does everything to get his objective done even if it means blood.
MC might be The Moon and The Hermit but i’m not really sure. it makes sense but i’m really only a beginner in all this tarot stuff 🤷🏻♀️ i have cards and only do some readings once in a while for funsies.
so what do you guys think? i kinda forgot about the psychic we called in lane’s apartment so it might be true or not i don’t really want to play his route to check again he’s so annoying i’m sorry 😔
