As they were finishing up, Luna returned with Scorpius, who carried a small bundle of pink carnations in his mitted hand and an eager expression. He seemed slightly nervous yet overall relaxed, much like he'd been in her vegetable patch. The environment, the freedom, and the company did wonders for him.

"Was your tour fun?"

A smile was his only response before he peered up at Luna.

"We walked around and I told him what all the plants were and what the flowers meant. Seemed like he wanted to know, like he was looking for something." Luna smiled down at the boy. "I let him pick a few flowers to keep for himself."

But instead of holding on, Scorpius extended the bundle to her with the same insistent look he'd worn while giving his father an armful of freshly picked vegetables.
