Muted Friday #vscocam http://ift.tt/1AGBpm3
One of the goals I set for myself this year was to go on more adventures, and take more leaps. Now that itâs mid-june, Iâve been going over the past 6 months and iâve realized that another goal i shouldâve set for myself was to properly document my adventures! Feeling a little bit like an idiot for not taking the time to share on mart-inabox what iâve been up to. So, in an attempt to make up for lost time, iâm here to chronicle my trips in retrospect!Â
My sister goes on alot of trips for work, and one of the places she frequents is Singapore. Iâve only been there once before, so on a whim of sorts, my brother in law and I decided to book a trip to spend the weekend with her on one of her longer stays. Honestly, my schedule didnât allow for a long trip, so in between deadlines and events, I managed to squeeze in 4 days of not so relaxing Singapore sunshine.Â
Things I love about Singapore:Â 1. Mobility! We spent the entire first day walking from Orchard to the Marina Bay Sands, and what would normally feel like a stroll through hell and back again, it was actually quite pleasant despite the overwhelming heat and humidity.Â
2. Daisies on the train. I love Gerber daisies, and I suppose Singapore wanted to show off by making old couples hand out free daisies at the Dhoby Ghaut station.
3. Sentosa. Iâll admit, the whole man-made beach concept kind of turned me off, but when I started to look at Sentosa as a theme park, it all seemed to make more sense.Â
After getting my fill of Singapore beach culture, the rest of the trip was spent shopping along orchard and catching up with an old friend from grade school.Â
A couple of months ago, I decided to take my personal branding seriously. Without knowing the first thing about branding, I called Joe and he helped me sort out (and re-mess up) the organized chaos I like to call martinabautista.com
So, drop by, say hi, and take a peek into my tiny corner of the internet.Â
Note: Not leaving mart-inabox.tumblr.com! in fact, got a few posts lined up, so stay tuned I guess!Â

hi, i just want to know where you buy your films and have it developed? thanks! :)
I buy and have it developed at either fuji or kodak :) Fuji takes about a week to develop while kodak takes less time but costs more. I hear the Fuji in MOA is faster, but I havent tried it out yet.Â
Thanks for stopping by!Â

Hi, my name is Adine and I'm from the Philippines as well :) First off - your blog is gives off the most calm and ease of atmospheres. I could scroll forever. Second, I was wondering if you could tell me where you buy your film? I'm new with the whole film camera thing and I order film online and I'm starting to think its bogus.
Hi Adine! Thanks for stopping by! I usually just buy my film at Fuji stores or kodak stores. Lately though, i've been trying to use up some expired Fuji Superia that my friend Tak got me, I think he bought it online actually, so don't lose hope! :)
