Our exclusive interview with abstract futurist @martinrinman is now up at http://news.fotofoamco.com/?p=425. See the artists new work to kick off the new year. Plus: the future of AI, robots and Mars Missions.
Many thanks to @fotofoam who did an interview with me about the challenges of being an artist, Mars, robots and meatballs!
Last day to see the Residual Self-Image series by martinrinman at the new fotofoam
Promo clip for Swedish artist Thomas Rusiak’s new Wrenches EP, edited by the visual wizard Martin Rinman, and produced by me.
I'm excited to say that I'm displaying some landscape work in a new exhibition together with producer/director Oliver Hartman and photographer Ayla Hibri, in a collaboration between Fotofoam, Jungles in Paris and creative agency IDOL. Everyone is welcome to come by Fotofoam's gallery in the West Village, 805 Washington St, Manhattan New York. Shoutout to my writer friend mkllpz who wrote the caption based on my very long and undecipherable notes"

Martin Rinman Residual Self-Image
I’ve written some (very dry) satire (in which I also speculate about future technology) to accompany Martin Rinman’s pictures of model Tamara Fatkolline as Themis Drone Pilot Alina 321, “a dystopian vision of … Europe, in which drone pilots are used as tools of the continental propaganda machine to maintain order”.
I’ve envisioned Alina as the fictive “European Neutrality Division’s (END) next generation of drone pilots who will be flying the new, state of the art lightweight Themis drones … [and] who will be spending countless hours in drone simulators employing direct neural interface (DNI), similar to the technology used in cloudphones every day by ordinary citizens”. I’ve even given the END their own Orwellian slogan: “Order, Neutrality. Neutrality, Order”.
