Saitama and Genos having a YouTube reaction channel, because Saitama heard that it can be profitable and Genos went along with it because, you know, Sensei wants to do it.

and unbeknownst to them, their channel gets mega-popular because people love the way that they don’t properly react to anything.

for example they can be sitting there watching some horrifically gory slasher film and Saitama is sitting there looking bored, not flinching at even the most brutal parts; just kinda picking his nose and daydreaming and Genos is just. clinically (over)analyzing every move that the protagonist makes. “A decapitation does not look like that.” “That weapon is insufficient for the job at hand.” and half the time they don’t even finish reacting to the full movie/tv show or whatever it is because Saitama will randomly remember a sale and without so much as a sign-off or goodbye the camera just goes dark and that’s the end of the video.

their reactions get to be a kind of cult classic thing with younger viewers who at first tune in to see S-class hero Genos and then it quickly turns into a game of which “reaction” is the funniest. but S and G pick up a lot of sponsors this way and really do earn some decent coinage so it all works out 😊 and viewers love how unpretentious and honest they are; like Saitama will look dead into the camera and be like “I had pizza from this place once and I ordered extra pepperoni but they only gave me a normal amount and when I complained they didn’t do anything to fix it, but these guys decided to sponsor us so that’s why I’m wearing this t-shirt. If you get pizza from them don’t order extra-anything ok?” and next thing you know this place is getting new customers by the dozen giggling as they go up to the counter ordering “a normal pizza with absolutely nothing extra ok?”
