The Commandments of FCs

Any FC can have any personality. Your personality doesn’t have to match your FC. You can make a stereotypically sweet FC into a mean one or vice versa or anything in between.

Any FC can have any name. People rarely chose their own name. When picking a name instead of thinking of the FC, think of the character’s heritage, their culture, their parents and where they were born.

Chose an FC based on the look you want. Think about the age, build, hair color, skin color, things like that when choosing an FC.

Consider the ethnicity of your character and FC. It’s better to cast someone of a particular ethnicity than someone that passes for that ethnicity.

Consider underused FCs. There are a wealth of FCs that have few gifs or icons, but there’s plenty of RPHs out there willing to help you make resources. Don’t count out underused FCs.

Use your imagination. If you have an FC you really love, but they aren’t perfect that’s okay. You can fill in the rest with your writing.

Love your FC. FC choices are personal, so don’t let anyone force you into playing an FC you don’t want to play.

Be more accepting. Be more accepting of other’s FC choices. Remember that RPing is a hobby, and the FC isn’t everything. Writing is important, and online we used to RP without FCs.

Choose your partners based on writing chemistry. The FC should be secondary to playing with someone you have good writing chemistry with and get along with OOC.

Forget the rules and play what you like. At the end of the day RPing is a hobby and it’s for fun. You are not getting paid to be here, so you don’t have to follow any arbitrary rules.

can someone pls give me a thing w/ a VERY innocent girl that wears a lot of pastel pink and lace who hasn’t done anything bad w / anyone but HAS kissed one person which was her boyfriend, who her parents arranged her to be with. she never felt   RIGHT   when she was with him, but she hated to be alone so she stayed with him,  then all of a sudden she meets a   GIRL   at a party, covered with tattoos   &   maybe a couple piercings,  who takes an immediate interest in her  &  wants her story.  they talk all night about everything, not wanting to leave each other.  then,  the innocent girl admits that she has been curious about experimenting with girls, but she never tried it for being too scared.  (    maybe they kiss or even more,  its a personal choice.    )  ANYWAY next day comes around and there’s a family get together at her boyfriends house, and the innocent girl walks in and   BAM   who does she see   ??   the girl from the night before dressed up with no piercings in  &  a long sleeve shirt covering her tattoos,   and surprise surprise  ??   she’s her boyfriends sister who is visiting from across the country.

au in which muse a and muse b have been neighbors for years, their apartment doors face to face on the highest floor of their building. in summer it gets pretty hot up there, so they started leaving their doors open to get some more fresh air in. that eventually led to several agreements about what music is playing (since it can be heard in both apartments, with the doors open), how they get their pets to like each other, etc. soon their apartments morphed into one, the constantly open doors making it easy to get from muse a’s place to muse b’s place to borrow some sugar, get the runaway cat back, change the radio channel or simple eat over there, because the afternoon sun is burning right into your own living room. they don’t realize that they are basically living together until muse a suddenly starts dating someone and muse b finds themself in front of a closed door.. ..and doesn’t like it at all.
