After two years of working on this project, I am finally able to show you what I made! The illustrations are for a board game called Spirit Train by @sweaterbeargames and I couldn't be more proud of how they turned out! Everything about this project just screamed my aesthetics so I was really happy when they wanted to work with me. It has also made me grow as an artist, because I never thought that I would be drawing trains or so many different fantasy creatures (60 to be exact 😂), not to mention all the room settings and different character poses. But luckily they were very patient with me and gave me good directions, so it all turned out amazing! Check out their page as well to follow updates on the board game's progress and release. I recently read the book Little Thieves and I loved it! It was one of my favourites from this year - I loved the dynamic of all the characters and the writing style.

Since finishing this fanart I've also read Painted Devils - which aaah the pain of that ending!! I can't wait to start the third one. Please don't let anything bad happen to Vanja & Emeric again.

I haven't had much time to paint for myself in the last year, because I was busy working on a work project, but during that time I learned so much and my art skills improved a lot. So lately whenever I'm painting, I'm just having so much fun again!

Anyway, here's one of my latest drawings, inspired by the flower bushes outside my apartment building.

A personal art piece, that I managed to finish between work projects.

I am constantly inspired by the Slovenian countryside, and the 'kozolec' structure is so iconic, I love including it in my paintings. It's a building meant for storing and drying hay. And you can see it all across the countryside here.

Had the pleasure of working on another album cover for Lofi Records. This time it was for the album Intimacy by Jorrit Brodersen.

I finished the Once Upon A Broken Heart series recently, and I can't stop thinking about these two.

For some reason I kept getting Ghibli vibes while I was reading it though, so I felt I needed to draw Eva and Jacks inspired by that one scene in Howl's Moving Castle.

Haven't really done any fanart in a long time, and it felt good to do a more rough painting.
