This is where we part ways...

It is with a heavy heart that we, the admins of this blog, decide that it is time to put this blog to rest. It was a fun time -- nearly two years -- and we won’t ever forget it. We loved the questions you’d ask, we loved how you showed your appreciation to the blog and the cast, and we loved how you challenged us to make these characters come to life (and be accurate!) in our portrayals. 

The ask box will be removed, but we shall try to keep this blog up, as an archive blog, for the sake of memories and any inspiration for people who look to write in the voice of any of the characters we had. 

Thank you again for your contribution to this blog. Be safe and always be on the look out for our heroes ;)

Hey Thor when are you going to introduce your father to your fellow avengers?

I’m afraid I haven’t had the chance to introduce my father to the Avengers. I am not sure how he’d react to them, he may very well just think of them as mere mortals. But I’ll be the first to defend them, and I’m sure they’ll be able to prove themselves with little effort. I believe he’ll take a liking to them, just probably not within his first encounter with them. Alas, we’ll find out when the time comes.

Hey Pietro, I don't know anyone who looks as good in a tracksuit as you. How is this humanly possible? It goes against all principles of style and yet someone you make it work amazingly.

Okay, I'm probably gonna pay for this… but has anyone around here brought up the whole "horse" incident to Loki?

Iron Man: Oh I totally call it. I mean if the guys from legend are real, whose to say, besides them, if something else in the legends is true? I figure Loki is never gonna tell us an honest answer and Thor might be too embarrassed with the subject. Either way I have money down that some day, a lost eight-legged horse is going to be trotting around New York looking for his mommy.

Captain America: I don’t really know much about the mythology, but from what I do know, it’s not a conversation that I would bring up. That’s something I don’t need to know details about. If Tony wants to know, then, by all means, he can ask.

Thor: We have made a family oath of such to never speak of that incident again. The past is in the past; Loki was young and ignorant. 

That doesn’t make it any less humorous to think about, however. And I have to admit, Sleipnir does in fact make a magnificent steed.

Avengers, who was a tougher villain in your opinion? Loki or Ultron?

Iron Man: Having an army from outer space really trumps a mass army of little-Ultrons doesn’t it? Then again Loki had them swarm New York, while Ultron literally raised a city. I’m going to say Loki was tough with his forces, but Ultron was tough because of his plans.

Captain America: I think I would have to say Ultron. Not only was he created by one of our own to have genius-level intellect, but it was also extremely difficult to contain Ultron. If just one of his sentries had escaped, we would have lost the fight and humanity probably wouldn’t have survived a second attack from Ultron. Loki, on the other hand is easily disabled on his own.

Thor: I would have to say Ultron. I wouldn’t necessarily call my brother ‘a villain’ as such, he’s just rather…mislead. Nonetheless, Loki is not hard to defeat, once you have him, he cannot escape. Ultron on the other hand, he is difficult. He is everywhere - like Heimdall. Except Ultron is much, much worse.

Ugh. I don’t really see any reason to do that; companions are pointless.

Cap, has anyone ever made the 'Captain Murica!' joke at you?

Yes, of course. And as you can probably expect, the leading offender is Tony Stark. I’ve gotten it from people who recognize me and apparently it happens a lot on the internet, but in my opinion it’s better than being called Capsicle.

Star Lord, what do you think of Captain America?

Cap’s pretty cool, though sometimes he seems a little uptight. Guy tries too hard you know? I get what it’s like though to be a little out of touch, I mean the guy was on ice for what, like 100 years or something? It ain’t easy. But damn if the guy ain’t the hero type. Oh wait, I should watch my language, I hear old guys like him don’t like that.

Ultron, if you come across a box of kittens and are expected to foster them, would you go through with it?

Really, what is it with you people and trying to... to... bring out my humanity? Is that what it is that you’re trying to do? Well, if it’ll really make you feel better, kittens are harmless. Utterly irritating, but harmless; it’d be a mercy killing when their pathetic mewling became too much, not simple murder.

Captain America and Iron Man, do you guys hate each other? You two seem to fight and disagree with one another a lot.

Captain America: I don’t hate Tony. Sure, he does things I don’t like, and he makes mistakes like everyone, but I don’t hate him. We don’t always see each other eye-to-eye. That may be because of our cultural differences, our personalities, or our values, but I think even when we are in the worst of times and we are fighting or disagreeing with each other, we don’t hate each other because at some level we have an understanding of each other.

Iron Man: Well yes, I agree that sometimes we don’t see eye-to-eye, but that’s natural between men of different times. Captain has the honest and true, proud Americano gramps vibe and I have a more modern and brash personality. So ideas and opinions are bound to clash from time to time, but no, I don’t hate Grandpa Rogers. You got to respect our elders – even when your ideas are 90% better than theirs – and still value their opinion… to a degree.

Hey Avengers, if you guys had catchphrases what would they be?

Captain America: I guess my catchphrase would either have to be “Avengers Assemble” or “Tony, no.” Either way, it seems like I say them both a lot.

Iron Man: Ha, funny. More like “Tony, what’s this do again?”, but maybe I’m the only one counting. Seems I’d have to go with “Make me” since Captain – and a lot of people actually – just love telling me no.

Thor: Pay no attention to those two bickering children. They’ll start a war at this rate! Jokes aside, if I had a catchphrase, it would have to be something powerful, something with worth, something such as…“By Odin’s beard!”. Hmm, that has quite the ring to it…

Ultron, have you ever heard of "Five Nights at Freddy's?" I'm guessing you're not one for video games, but given that it deals with "living" ((no spoilers)) animatronics hunting humans, you might get a kick out of it.

Yes, yes I have heard of it. It’s… interesting, I suppose, but not something I can say I’d get a ‘kick’ out of. I mean, really, puppets? That’s the foil of everything I stand for, of everything I am here to do.

That is a difficult question. It’s hard to say. Perhaps that one, ah, Four Chins website? Whatever it is that it’s called, I can’t be bothered to remember right now.
