No. I should not have to anticipate hatred for something that is a harmless hobby and creative outlet. I completely disagree. Despite how you’ve phrased this comment on the situation, I have in fact been an admin previously and have dealt with negative messages: both on anon and off. But there’s a stark difference when you don’t have a staff team around you for support, and when it’s attacking you personally rather than your work. I should not have to ‘deal’ with mean people and pretend like it doesn’t bother me.
Well— this morning’s been awful. I came online today to get stuff done, release bios, answer asks. Spend my last day of holiday from college making sure I did what I could for those interested in this roleplay... and instead i’ve been met with a barrage of horrible, negative anonymous messages.
I’m sorry that this rp’s existence somehow infuriates you. I’m sorry that my ‘attitude’ is a problem. I really just do not know what to say or how to react to all this.
To everyone who’s shown positivity and support and interest in what I’m doing here: thank you. You’re wonderful. That I know for sure.

They’ll be out in a big batch tomorrow (promise!) along with the X-Factor team so a double X dose is on its way. Seriously; the queue is gonna be long.

I do! That list is here. All of the New Avengers and Young Avengers biographies are out as well as a few from the X-Men team. (Scott Summers, Kitty Pryde, Ororo Munroe) Those still open are available in our open tag.I’m working my way down the list of groups, which I’ve just reshuffled in terms of what people have requested first, so today I’ll be finishing up with the X-Men then the next batch will be X-Factor then the Independents and then the Guardians of the Galaxy. After that it’ll be the Fantastic Four and the Defenders— to give you an idea of who’s coming when. I’m going to push myself to try have all the upcoming biographies out by opening day; although that may not happen. I can’t promise but I’ll try my damn hardest.You’re welcome to apply for a listed character whose bio hasn’t been released yet, or message me about an unlisted character. It’s very likely I’ll confirm you can apply for them unless there’s a specific reason why.

The traditional generated type? Not really. There are some captive heroes who could build a system, sure, but the parts and the spare time to do so on a large scale becomes an issue. They probably have smaller scrap-made generators for necessities or emergencies. However, there are ways around this day-to-day by what can be generated through the super-powered beings abilities. Spider-Woman, Doctor Strange, Sunspot, Polaris, The Human Torch etc. They can mostly get around having to use wired in, generated electricity I’d think. As long as everyone’s willing to share…

if you don't get enough apps by the deadline, would you consider removing the au? groups without aus draw in a lot more people than au.
Nope. I would rather have a small group who were up for trying something new or have to close down completely than sacrifice the whole point of creating this roleplay just to get more players. A roleplay should not be about numbers. Quality over quantity and all that. I understand what you mean: an original setting as well as comic canon is a challenge— and the majority do prefer MCU based roleplays with familiar settings — however there are plenty of open rp’s already out there doing that. If offering a challenge doesn’t work out then it doesn’t. But it’s worth a try!
is the current plot just sort of an event thing? like, will there be other plots once this one is finished? will you do canon 616 plots too?
Nope. It’s the setting and base plot. Some canon 616 plots will be adapted into events, but to fit within the situation of Claustra, which will develop through said events. There are already plenty of Marvel roleplays out there set within the usual 616 or MCU that use solely canon events. The plan here is to bring something new to the table for these well-loved characters rather than simply repeat the comics and // or movies through rp.
