Low-key wondering why people hate Zuko x Katara but love Zuko x Sokka, and obviously that isn't true for everyone. But I want to know what the difference in opinion stems from. How do some of the main critique of one not extend to the other?

LiValueAct Introduction ... !
My nerd blog :p
People talk about the amount of poc characters who died in yellowjackets to call the show racist. Then to prove their point they bring up the number of white characters who died and have like 3 somehow.
The show has quite a large poc cast already, of course they're gonna die. Also some ppl are making assumptions about who's poc and who's not which is heavily inflating numbers. Coach Ben is not poc, his actor is European.
If I'm right like 6 white characters have died, which is double the popular number of 3 out of 10.
Just a little confused why this racist narrative is going around a show that people claim to enjoy. Like critiquing the show is one thing, but calling the show blatantly racist then having its pfp is another.
Shauna fully just taking credit for Mari's death in a way because she wants to feel powerful and dangerous when really she basically had the least to do with it was actually... pretty perfect. Like Akilah, Mari, Gen, and Melissa agree to kill the livestock to instigate the hunt, Lottie suggests it first, Mari backs her up, Tai and Van rig the cards, Travis built the pit, etc, Shauna is actually pretty inconsequential to what happens. They all see her as driving the violence but ultimately she just reflects back at them the violence they've already brought with them. Tai and Misty scapegoating Shauna for Van's death by someone else's hand. Callie and Jeff basically holding Shauna accountable for a murder Callie committed. Like, Shauna is easy to blame because she desires the violence, but I bet if she died tomorrow they'd figure out pretty quick the horror still follows them.
I love you for this analysis because alot of the audience fell for the same thing too 🙂↕️
"galinda is gay for elphaba" i say into the mic. the munchkins boo. i begin to walk off in shame as a voice speaks and commands silence from the room. "she's right" they say. i look for the owner of the voice. there she stands. its ariana grande.
And so it will be for the rest of my life, and I'll want nothing else 'til I die.

Angst poll...
So what's angstier (is that a word?): a character's dead mom always wishing she could sing or if she could sing? Please note the character is a good singer themself.
Pick an answer... pretty please
dead mom can sing
dead mom always wishing she could sing
The Mrs. And I have been rewatching Korra and I just wanted to remind y'all that Kuvira should never have been a villain and season 4 should have ended with the Earth Kingdom reclaiming Republic territory. That the show chose to depict a land back movement as fascist is absolutely fucked up.
Lok being an American cartoon just makes it feel wrong... Like how dare a poc woman demand her land back.
Is kuvira evil or is babygirl...?
It could really be either 😿
I can act a little silly
but also serious. if the situation calls for it.
Korra in my head :3
i think about kuvira at least once a day i love her YES SHES A FASCIST but i love her and i’d let her kill me
