-This one time Freddie and his manager got into a small argument at a restaurant so his manager left and went home and Freddie literally threw a brick in his window for leaving him there 

-That one time Freddie’s credit card got declined and he said something like, “What? I’m Freddie Mercury!” and the cashier was like, “I know that but American Express doesn’t.” 

-When John legit forgot the bassline to Under Pressure after going out for pizza and if it wasn’t for Roger remembering it, we wouldn’t have that song today 

-One of my fave Freddie stories is that one time he got so worried looking for his lost cat that he hurled something out the window (it was a Hibachi that he dragged Jim all over Japan to look for)

People dislike Jim for apparently being a “gold digger” when the real Tea is that Jim never asked for a handout in anyway and always worked to support himself even when he was living at Garden Lodge and was fiercely independent despite Freddie actually wanting to spoil him all the time. Even when he began building their home in Ireland he went to the bank for a loan at first ((despite literally having a millionaire husband who could just give him the money)) and then eventually had Freddie loan him the money insisting it be docked from his pay to be fair. And yet people are insisting that he was a “gold digger” bc he wrote Mercury and Me as a way to get out his feelings and cope with the loss of his husband, right.
