My LFS just posted they have orange eyed blue tiger shrimp for sale but I'm BROKE 😭😭😭😭

Yay an update! So update for frosty and his growing community. I put some of my plastic plants back in so there’s more hiding spots because until I get proper lighting for this tank the plants arnt going to flourish.

I now have a small family of shrimp! I’m thinking one was pregnant when I bought them and they nested in the wood. I’ve seen about 5 so far.

I now have a small school of X-ray tetras! They’re pretty cool looking guys and frosty is determined to become best buds with them. He’s always trying to school with them and will literally freeze in place so they don’t swim away from him.

My community is slowly growing but this will probably be it for a while due to money or lack of lol 😂 I’m happy with it for now though the tetras are hard to feed. Frosty is at the point we’re I dip my finger in the water to indicate I’m about to put food there and he waits right there. The tetras on the other hand flee when they see me and don’t come to the surface as much.

More plants added and good news! Frosty isn't a shrimp eater!!! So he's approved for more tank mates lol

Switched the boys so river would stop eating the shrimp. Honestly I need more plants... a lot more and better lights on the 20g but this will do for now.

Ended up changing the 10g again 😬😬 illl probably never be happy with it.
