A third character who will make her appearance more and more in my wonky little doodlies, and sooner or later in a webcomic. Time to start dropping hints on some lore :^)

I've been thinking about what I would love to see more out of from Dragon's Dogma 2, and one of my biggest is a larger selection of weapons. The biggest problem I see with that is I don't know what weapons I would think fits well in the greater balance of the game.
Now there are weapons I would love to see, but the vast majority of them I've trouble justifying. Here is an example; I love axes and would love to see them added, but I struggle to think of how they would be implemented, and why one would use them in a vocation over a sword.
You could have it do more damage than most swords, but then why should said vocation be able to use the sword when this hypothetical axe is objectively better, especially when there are other vocations that can use swords comfortably anyway?
Kind of the issue I have with Mystic Knight being able to use both swords and maces... Why can it use swords when maces are superior stat wise for that vocation? Instead if they added more weaponry then they need to do it in a way that sits in balance with the rest of the game.
A good example of how this could be done is if they had spears, because you could have a playstyle focused entirely on doing damage to flying enemies or cyclopes that were brought to their knees due to the added reach. Lots of different skills focused on ground to air attacks, and not just Skyward Slash or something similar.
This is something I have been thinking about for a bit.
more crayon doodles at work
Solid…Hydra? (Dragon’s Dogma) featuring Galmar Berastok Wanted to do this dumb Metal Gear Solid joke before I inevitably burn myself out of Dragons Dogma like I usually do cause I play it very intensly every time I get back into it.
in the past week, we've seen Dragon's Dogma 2, Payday 3, and Starfield. I am going to be fucking broke in September.
Man this reddit blackout shit sucks I wanna talk about dragons dogma funny moments with people who will actually give a shit but the whole blackout thing is happening so I gotta wait for reddit to fix their policies before I can post anything
Have now joined the club of "the dragon fucking kidnapped the wrong npc now I have to go restart my save file ugh"
Moar minis, this time a Blood Angel.
So my favorite band is named Dragonland, and weirdly enough (and not just for the obvious reasons) I associate the band with Dragon's Dogma because I started listening to Dragonland around the same time I started playing DD.
Kinda makes me wanna do a playthrough where I just listen to Dragonland the entire time, to really hammer home the nostalgia for me.
Thank you so much for posting dragons dogma can you tell me all about your pawn and arisen, and how far in the game are you because I can give you some tips and tricks if you want or if you already know all of them we can agree on how cool dragons dogma is I love dragons dogma
DRAGONS DOGMA my arisen's name is basil and his pawn is named hama, here they are hanging out in the gran soren fountain (hama with the silly hat). basil is an assassin/magick archer and hama is a warrior
when i first made them i had the idea of an arisen whose pawn takes the form of their childhood hero. they go on fun adventures and dick around and everything until they are hit with the sorrows, that kind of thing. i want to come up with a whole story for them just to sort my feelings out
thank you for the ask and also for offering help! i have now beaten the game twice (once on switch, once on ps4, AND i started a third save on pc) since february because it altered my brain chemistry. dragon dogma :)
Bitter Black Isles reruns be like…(Dragon’s Dogma featuring my Unholy Trinity)
Had fun doing this one between commissions
Love BBI and yesterday I officially rendered my longtime pure melee strider build busted op( the big buff lady in the front, she made a whole town of eliminators and 2 wyrms her bitch)
Right now I working on my Ranger and Fighter on their alt accounts to get just as busted(they are around level 70 atm, still some work to that twohundo)
As my Dragons Dogma addiction gets worse and worse(got back to it yet again for obvious reasons) Im more inspired to draw these dumb things.
Unholy Trinity and Alvina the Pawn( my best friend’s pawn)
Wanted to make a piece dedicated to the Force Hatchet since its the only one handed axe-ish type weapon in the game. One of my biggest pet peeves with the game is the lack of Axes in it (one might say I have an axe to grind), but this weird Uruk lookin hatchet is good enough for my big AXEnShield boi Galmar.
Added the glow on the characters to identify that they are all arisen for the fun of it(ingame I do have all arisen and pawn variants of them so I can play as the group regardless of who Im playing as)
