I’m learning a lot about myself and people as the years go on. Right now, I’m in a place where I love myself and love the people I’ve allowed into my life. I’m working hard to make a difference in the world by being a voice for children who are in foster care. We can all do something each day to help people. Even if it’s just a smile as you pass by, please try. Let’s make our world what it should be!

Hey, everyone.

I haven't been on here in nearly a year. Life is so much better this time than it was the last time I was on here. :) I am living in a great place. I have great friends. I've mostly dealt with the break up with my ex-fiancé. He's married now. I'm working in my career field still, and I'm mostly happy. I choose happiness, daily. :)

I’ll always ask myself what was so wrong with us that we fell apart, but in the light of the morning, I’ll realize that it was just our time to let us go.

I keep waiting to stop feeling my chest burning like a wound with salt poured on it. I keep waiting for the pain to stop stealing my breath. Mostly, I keeping waiting for the day that that small part of me finally accepts you're never coming back, that you not coming back is a good thing. I keep waiting to stop missing you.

Update on my life.

I've been doing well. I'm getting better all the time. I have had a really hard time dealing with everything and coping with the new direction my life is going. I've got a house I'm renting, have a roommate. :) I have a car. I have a job. I've finished college. I'm doing well in my career.

My heart is kind of shattered still, but I am putting those pieces back together. I'll find who I'm meant to be with in the right allotment of time, but it does suck until then because I had all those plans.

I'm feeling pretty good though because I do have all the positive things that I mentioned going for me. I have lost 15 lbs; I may have put that back on though because I've just been super hungry today. Oh well. I look fairly good. :)

So I got broken up with

AGAIN! My engagement is up. I'm not getting married, and I'm heartbroken. This is all heavy! I can't wait to get away from here and get a break. I'm sad and just want my life back to normal.
