Are we going to get any update for the standings? It's been so quiet from the mods again... It's hard to know if we should work on things or not when there's so much radio silence. And if there are more teams that dropped out, can we know who is still left and maybe see if we could recruit members. Like a post of "this is who is left and how many people are on each team -- we're looking for mid-game subs, sign up/contact team leaders/etc" or something?

Hi, yes. I knew I was forgetting something and that something is, evidently, the MR2 voting post. It's up now. Sorry.

I'm not the mod who has been tallying up points, but I'll definitely try to get standings figured out soon. I can at least announce the rankings for MR1, so stayed tuned for that. The actual counting of points will have to wait a bit, I'm very sorry.

sewwwww if our team has fallen apart can we put up fills for fun, or is it join another team or leave the games?

You can continue participating! If you want, you can try to find people to replace the people who've left. If you're able to find any new members for your team, you can let us know and we'll add them to roster.

Just saying -- if things like that are happening, let us know? I think a lot of people would prefer to have a bit of communication... rather than thinking the mods had gone AWOL and wondering if we should even work on the next round entries. And -- to that end -- what about seeing if there aren't people who would like to join the existing teams? Maybe boost up some numbers of participants. Just a thought.

If existing teams can find people to join them, I'm more than willing to allow that! I'm not sure what I can do to make that happen, but do feel free to recruit!

It just seems like interest is waning when the mods aren't around as much. We dont' know what the current standings are at all. It took forever for anyone to respond about the dates when comments were posted about the dates. The posts in BR3 definitely weren't as hopping as the previous couple. I can't speak for everyone, but it does feel like people have checked out.

Truth be told!

Over the course of the past month a couple of teams have been knocked out of the running due to drop outs, making participation wain,  unfortunately it is sometimes the nature of the long term fest beast.

And I have not put the tallies up from BR2, since I was internet awol for a week and then at that time it seemed like it would be a bigger bang to release the two bonus round tallies at once tomorrow morning.

I should’ve posting something for sure, and I apologize I’m taking the full burden of that and making sure my co-mod knows it is not her fault there.

This does just make those of you who are still in it so SO much more special!  You have my deepest thanks <3

Thank you for the correction in the MR1 voting section. I was actually referring to the MR2 prompt, (which remains uncorrected), and the three comments, (made days apart by three different people), underneath it that went unanswered. Several people do not use tumblr, and there seems to be a lack of communication on the Dreamwidth page.

Step up or end this. Not bothering to be present or correct incorrect dates, (when asked multiple times) is not fair to the participants. For mods who seem so concerned about "fairness" you've focused on the minutiae, (ie word count or time on a story), and neglected the important pieces like communicating clearly with participants. So either step up and be mods or stop wasting our time. I apologize for my brusqueness but the word limit necessitates it.

Hello palomayzorro and anyone else who might have been terribly confused about the posting date of “Septermber 28” stated on the dreamwidth post concerning MR2.  It is indeed due on the date written in the schedule October 26th.

The dw post has now been edited to match the schedule date.  I’m not sure who else you know has sent us a message about this typo, maybe the other mod had taken care of it, but rest assured this is the first message I have seen on the matter, hopefully it hasn’t been in the box for too long <3

Yes, we're still doing this. I'm sorry I haven't been more attentive lately, I realize that that might have screwed things up for people, and I'm willing to make accommodations if that is the case.
