IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

Immigration Defense Project is a great resource as it shows what rights you have and has pamphlets in various languages not limited to English and Spanish. It also has a section that shows ICE raids tactics! The IDP provides litigation, works with policy and advocacy, and provides legal advice as well.

We Have Rights is primarily used to know your rights in the aftermath of being detained. It provides videos on the different aspects of what rights you have such as having a right to an attorney, etc.

One of the most important thing to do is to have an EMERGENCY PLAN. The thought of being deported is terrifying and no one should be complacent in the actions this administration is taking. Regardless, it is happening and we cannot ignore it and it’s important to be prepared if you are affected by this reality. Having an emergency plan is important so whoever is not being detained knows who to contact, what medications are needed, the doctors, etc. are all put together in the instance the worst case happens. We Have Rights have the preparedness document at the bottom of the website if you are in need of one.

I would not change coming from a family of immigrants. I would choose it in every life time and to my fellow community, I hope you would too.

They would always be the balance of nature. To coexist always meant to harness life and death. In simple terms, they were unbalancing nature. Two entities existing at the same time who were not meant to coincide. Their existences brought unnatural dangers to the universe and could cause catastrophic disruptions. They were unnatural beyond the simple term of being a mutant. While Jean was life, Madelyne was fire. There was a rage she could feel radiating from The Goblin Queen. The idea that Jean stole her life but how can it be when it was never the clones to begin with. Comical, really. " You are nothing without me. " Because without the existence of Jean, there would be no Madelyne. Yet, there would always be a Jean Grey. " You took my life and it was never yours. " A venom in tone. She was always meant to be the pacifist but this was her life. She was done giving it up. " You were never meant to exist. "

The faint psychic push tickles. Jean laughs knowing the clone is trying to be cruel. They were always going to be fighting for dominance. ( You'll never have what belongs to me. ) She pushes back. jean does not pass out when over exerting herself. when her mutation was evolving, maybe i’ll gander the first few years of her childhood but that passed well into her adulthood. instead, her appeal to humanity (as well as curse) it life and death. never being able to live long enough without the torment of the phoenix. dying and resurrecting causing fragmentations of her past lives and memories. never being able to pin point exactly when a moment happened. jean elaine grey is what everyone knows in this life but she existed way before this name and will exist beyond after.

There was a mixture of condemnation and acceptance coursing within her. Condemnation for hating Madelyne Pryor's existence. Forced acceptance for acknowledging the clone's existence. She hated the bubbling anger that was felt. The anger. The rage. This was not Jean. This couldn't be the true her she believed herself to be. What if it was? There was no separation between the clone and herself. They were one in the same. ( Maybe? ) It was so confusing which made things harder. Jean, who felt always so sure of who she was, was lost. Wondering. With every movement, every thought, every feeling she questions : How much is it truly Jean Elaine Grey?

The National guard is being deployed to Los Angeles to support ICE.

ICE and the LAPD have been firing rubber bullets directly at protesters and utilizing weapons like tear gas.

Water and saline are the only thing that go in eyes.

Flush temperature burns for at LEAST 15 minutes. Brush off dried chemicals from chemical burns because water may activate the chemical.

Traffic cones over a canister can reduce tear gas range.

Wear ear protection if available. LRADs are no joke and will make you go deaf. Over the ear is best.

Write your “in case of emergency” in permanent marker on your body. Also any bail fund/pro bono lawyer.

There are reportedly 300 troops on the ground in LA as of this morning. I would assume the number to be higher than what’s reported. Trump signed a memorandum to deploy 2000 troops. The border czar is threatening to arrest elected California officials if they “impede ICE”.

Compton was attacked by ICE agents last night and the community showed up.

The Bail Project is a general reputable bail fund out of Los Angeles that helps people around the country.

The National Bail Fund Network is similar and regularly works with both protesters and immigrants.
