Had a great time at @sevengrandla tasting the fancier versions of @jackdaniels_us. We learned the fantastic history of this American whiskey. I also learned that the next bottle purchase for my locker at @bar_jackalope will be the single barrel cask strength version. Perfect to pair with a cigar when I'm chillin with @jorgebueno1. Cheers! Here I am at a @Costa_Ludus carbine class doing a shooting drill with my Ferfrans 5.56 rifle. So much fun! This drill was to engage multiple targets from behind cover/concealment. Partner covers while reloading. You run your mags dry and switch to secondary weapon (pistol) to keep sending the love downrange. The only bad part was that I couldn't have a cigar in my mouth because Chris Costa is constantly having you run around doing high energy drills. I highly recommend his classes! B2V 2017 was a great success for all the runners and support staff involved. I was posted up at Stage 6 volunteering with Race Comms. I made sure command post had important runner data...and also made sure team members knew which runners were coming in and who needed to be on deck. Had a great time helping out with @jorgebueno1 and cheering all the teams on! In Las Vegas for the big Baker 2 Vegas Race that starts tomorrow morning. I'm getting my carbs in like any good runner would... except I'm NOT running. I'll actually be sitting all day working HAM radios and other equipment. @jorgebueno1 and I are volunteering with official B2V Race Ops to make sure the race runs smoothly. Oh my god my heart is melting for my boo @jorgebueno1... When we met in 2005 Jorge took me to a Brad Paisley concert for one of our first dates. It was an amazing night with great music and I have been a fan ever since. Today Jorge surprised me with VIP tickets to a private Brad Paisley concert.
