Every morning I try and make time for a morning practice to get my mind right. Usually 10-15 mins of asana (the physical postures of yoga), some breath work and/or meditation. Lately I've been obsessed with Marcella Kroll's "Sacred Symbols" deck. Her beautiful depictions of these symbols are fantastic writing + meditation/intention prompts. Here's today's - transmute (shedding skin, transformation), pyramid (ascension, creating sacred space), death (mourning + grieving the old ways, stepping into a new life). Lots to ponder today ...

Already thinking of tomorrow’s coffee … Here is Sarah from Neutral Ground Coffeehouse - one of the oldest standing coffeehouses in NOLA - and their hand pulled espresso maker. It was delicious. Alas, I’m in Duluth, MN in a snowstorm … French press it will have to be (and I’m okay with that). Goodnight!
