why would the elite writers build up samuel and carla ....do all the promo for them in season 2 ...see the amazing response ....and think that’s how they should end. Not even a kiss? Y’all wilding. i wish they published a video of the cast reacting to one of the episodes and/or at a table read just like they did with season 1, because imagine seeing jorge and danna reacting to all the mess. miguel losing his shit when nadia finally kisses guzmán. itzan and ester not getting what the hell is going on.

i just want to lay my thoughts on 2x4 of Elité, particularly the carmuel scenes. 

carla has always used men as a means to an end. sex was just a means for her to control them. her sensuality made men grovel, and clamber for her affection. the kiss between her and Polo is a perfect example of how she loves to lure these men to a state of complete craving. but that kiss with polo ultimately opened the different layers of carla’s personality complex for me. there was a hint of guilt in that kiss. it wasn’t the carla that enjoyed toying with pollo and christian in s1. her eyes spoke of regretfulness, as samuel peered through. i thought it was breathtaking.  also, carla’s intentions when she goes to see samuel. i have so many questions about it. is she trying to seek his redemption or does she just want his dick? bcos as samuel rightly said, what she said could have easily have been sent in a text. but that scene showed me more than anything that carla felt as though she was undeserving of samuel’s affection. she seemed taken aback by his offer of macaroni. that someone as affectionate, as equally complex and problematic, would want to do something with her other than sex. it’s like shes had to bargain with her body for so long, she’s oblivious to walls she’s created in the process.

when carla comes over to samuel’s house the second time to eat reheated macaroni, she tells him that he won’t be able to see her as a princess when she has sauce dripping down her face, meaning that he won’t be able to put her on a pedestal any longer. and then less than like two minutes later, samuel literally cleans up sauce off her face and all i could think about is the fact that maybe carla is realizing that she likes being with samuel because he doesn’t put her on a pedestal unlike christian and polo??? samu really just sees her as an equal and and i feel like that allows her to show many different sides of herself to him that she doesn’t with others because of their expectations of her????

YES! Just to add onto this, I also think she’s never had someone challenge her. With Polo and Christian, she was able to tell them what to do and they would do it. Christian had to be begged to be seen as an ‘equal’ in the locker room, and that equality didn’t last long as his silence was soon bought. However, with Samuel, it’s the complete opposite. The first thing is, after their first sexual intercourse and Carla is trying to ‘woo’ Samuel (saying that she was just saying that she was involved to turn him on and being flirty), he tells her that he’s not a fool she can take advantage of. Right off the gate, the advantage Carla always has over these men is gone. Then, I think it really solidified the equalness between them, is that Samuel (I like Christian) cannot be bought. We see this when he says “your money doesn’t impress me” at the all red party. Samuel challenges Carla because he forced her to change the game, but through doing that, we got to see the real Carla. They both found a sort of support with one another, a mutual understanding of each other, and therefore, an equally challenging relationship. But yes, love them.

Elite's Co-Creator talked about samucarla and he said they really feel in love so now everyone who doubt it their feelings for each other can stay silent... but it was pretty obvious.
