Why do people write stories with characters in their forties and older and make the reader be in their early twenties? I'm sick of it, to be honest. What about two really GROWN-up people in a relationship? How about this? Or why not set the setting of the story In the past? When the character was also twenty years old. And this is often done with characters who clearly would not give in to a relationship with someone who is clearly younger than them. Because of this, I often just closed the fic at the moment when I realized that I had stumbled upon it again. The problem is that people don't even tag that there is an age gap. Monkey D luffy x Reader, modern au

Luffy, now an adult, works as a firefighter. He catches up with his friends at Shakky's bar or in the few other settings where they all manage to gather. Meanwhile, he still lives in his childhood home, now only with Dadan and Garp, as his brothers have moved into homes of their own: Ace lives with his boss, Whitebeard, while Sabo lives with his girlfriend, Koala. This, however, doesn't stop the brothers from frequently visiting the house they grew up in.

For the past few months, Luffy has started disappearing out of nowhere, returning after hours or even a few days. When he is asked one day where he goes during his absences, he admits that he is in a relationship and goes to visit his significant other.

Everyone—literally everyone, from passersby to close friends, from young to old, both men and women—is curious to know who the "unfortunate" person with Luffy is, and everyone imagines someone graceful, timid, kind, and petite.

However, at the moment of the meeting at Shakky's bar, no one expects to hear the roar of a motorcycle and see Reader step off the vehicle and introduce themselves as Luffy's partner.

Reader is older than Luffy and is someone with rude, cold, aloof, and perpetually angry manners towards everyone, even their partner, who simply laughs off every outburst.

When the others ask about Reader's life, they answer without any hesitation: Reader was recently released from prison due to a setup and now helps their uncle Levi—a man in a wheelchair—manage the house, the farm, and his tea shop. It was during an afternoon at the farm that Luffy had shown up, saying his fire truck had broken down, and was instantly struck by Reader's fierce charm, experiencing feelings he had never felt for anyone before (not even for his exes Vivi and Margaret, with whom he remains on good terms).

At first, Reader was skeptical and still thinks Luffy is too good-natured and naive. However, this doesn't make the young man give up; he manages to break down all of Reader's protective walls. In fact, during their moments alone, Reader lets their guard down, proving to be sweet, shy, and affectionate.

Of course, no one else knows about this private side. Reader makes a bad impression on everyone, sparking a lot of distrust: many advise Luffy to think it over or leave them, while only a few friends think Reader is incredibly attractive and that Luffy got lucky.

The dynamics of the story will lead his friends and family (including Dragon, Shanks, and Makino) to get to know Reader better, slowly discovering that behind all that rudeness and anger lies a kind and wounded person.

While everyone now knows that the sun is Luffy, and there are strong doubts about whether the moon is Teach or Imu, the truth has always been a variable that no one ever took into consideration. Until now.

At 20 years old, the Reader decides to join the Marines, tired of listening to what she considers nonsense from her mother Carla, her brother Eren, and her father Grisha, a doctor working for the World Government. The Reader does not possess the exaggerated curves typical of many women in the One Piece world, but thanks to the harsh Marine training, she becomes extremely athletic, specializing in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.

Grisha, however, has always admired one thing about his daughter: her critical thinking. The Reader never simply says "yes" or "no"; she always answers with a "it depends," launching into long philosophical speeches about relativism that her brother and fellow Marines struggle to endure. Because everyone always sees her writing in her notebook during these moments, she eventually earns the epithet "The Malicious Pen Poet". She is convinced that absolute truth does not exist, that eternal love is an illusion, and that people do not possess a single, fixed identity.

There is, however, a secret that torments her: every time she closes her eyes, her body forces her to see fragments of past lives belonging to dead people. Only later will she discover that these are not ordinary people, but rather Celestial Dragons or individuals belonging to the lineage of the D. The Reader is actually the product of a forbidden union: her biological father was a Celestial Dragon named Julius Nerona, while her mother was a member of the D. clan (Rocks D. Tomura). Grisha met the newborn's parents just moments before the birth at God Valley and, fascinated by the complexity of human nature, agreed to take her in under a false name to protect her.

Since the age of six, the Reader has been writing these dreams in a diary, accumulating questions she cannot answer. Once in the Marines, she goes on many adventures and forms friendships with both her comrades and various pirates, some of whom even try to recruit her. However, she always refuses, ironically stating that she prefers the security of a fixed government salary, also due to a good amount of laziness.

Fifteen years pass. Following the tragic execution of Portgas D. Ace at Marineford and the appointment of Akainu as Fleet Admiral, the Reader makes a drastic decision: she leaves the Marines. She heads to Sphinx Island, where the graves of Whitebeard and Ace are located, and kneels before Red-Haired Shanks, begging him to take her into his crew. Shanks, who already knew her from her time in the military, accepts while laughing at how long it took her to make up her mind. However, the Reader specifies that this will be a temporary two-year stay, as her ultimate goal is to join the Straw Hat Pirates.

During these two years, the Reader forms a deep bond with the Red Hair Pirates. She confides the contents of her dreams to Shanks and Benn Beckman, especially since they are linked to the Figarland family. A unique complicity blossoms between her and Benn. In the taverns of the New World, the Reader (who is bisexual) enjoys acting as Benn's wingwoman when courting women, creating fun and playful situations. But in their private moments, once left alone, the two open up to each other, revealing their secret thoughts. A quiet love is born between them; both Benn and Shanks understand that the Reader is a key figure for the future and for defeating the World Government. For this reason, Benn and the Reader promise to openly declare their feelings only once the war is over.

After the two years are up, the Reader reaches the Sabaody Archipelago and kneels before Luffy, asking to come aboard. Despite the initial distrust of the rest of the crew, Luffy senses something in her and accepts, marking the beginning of a special friendship. Luffy doesn't know how to define exactly what she represents to him—a friend, an older sister, or a protective figure—but he knows that the Reader is always by his side when he faces nightmares, battles, joys, and sorrows. Over time, the entire crew grows to love her, following the canon plot until Egghead, where the Reader finally discovers the truth about her biological parents through a video message that Grisha had left in Vegapunk's custody.

The actual story begins in the future: two years have passed since Luffy became the King of the Pirates. Shanks' crew no longer sails and has settled on an island. The Reader lives with them and is now officially a couple with Benn. She is often teased by both crews for how much she blushes around him. One day, some orphan children from the island approach her curiously, asking what "The Malicious Pen Poet" keeps writing so carefully in her old logbook. Write a story set in a high school environment with the characters from the generation before Luffy (those who are canonically 39+ years old) and add Reader. Reader is the adopted daughter of Rocks D. Xebec, but she doesn’t know she was adopted and has always lived believing she is the twin of Marshal D. Teach (Xebec’s son). No one except Xebec and his wife Eris knows that Reader was adopted. Reader therefore lives with Xebec, Eris, and Teach. She and Teach have a special relationship: when they were children they were very close because Reader always had strange dreams, where she lived other people’s lives in the past and future, thus having nightmares. To calm them, she would go to her brother’s room to sleep, or he, awake, would wake her and they would stay together. The dreams, however, continued even into high school. Because of this, Reader has always had insomnia problems and missed a lot of school. From elementary school until the second year of middle school, Reader had no friends except Teach and, in the summer, Loki (son of Harald, Xebec’s close friend, where the two families spend summers together). Loki’s family: Harald, Hajrudin, Ida, and Loki. But during holidays, from childhood through high school, the Rocks family celebrated with the families of Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido, where Reader later met Marco, Thatch, and Izo, who would become her closest friends in high school. She also met Katakuri, Perospero, Cracker, Amande, Oven, and other Big Mom children. Meanwhile, Kaido had only adopted King, with whom Reader always forms a strong friendship, because King is one of the few people able to understand Reader’s dreams, besides them. At these parties, as adults, there were also Shiki, Gloriosa, and Stussy. The teachers are Roger, Garp, Stussy, Kureha, Vegapunk, Shakky, Oden, and Gloriosa. Roger is about to marry Rouge, a girl who graduated the previous year; the same goes for Oden and Toki.

Reader starts spending all her time with her friends and joins the boys’ soccer team made up of her friends, and with this begins her strange friendship with Shanks. The two have surprising chemistry: they understand each other with a glance, laugh at jokes, speak in code, are always attached at the hip. Shanks follows Reader everywhere, manages to calm her during her dreams, and she talks to him about them. At first everyone swears it’s just friendship, but at a certain point the warmth in their looks changes, and so does the physical relationship. However, Shanks will never admit his feelings for Reader, because Reader is not canonically beautiful or attractive. What makes her memorable is her character: strong, charismatic, and funny. Indeed, Reader expected him to invite her to the end-of-year ball, but this doesn’t happen because Shanks invites Makino, who has a crush on him and everyone knows it. Reader, instead, stays home that night with her brother, but lies and says that, in her opinion, it was nonsense.

During the final year of high school, finally disillusioned with Shanks, she also discovers she was adopted and, after high school, decides to search for her biological family and leaves everyone behind, not before attending Rouge and Roger’s wedding and Toki and Oden’s.

Shanks lives with Roger, Buggy, and Rouge, and when he’s in high school he spends two summers with Reader, her family, Whitebeard and his children, Roger, Rayleigh, Shakky, Gaban, Ripley, Big Mom, Kaido, Gloriosa, King—all these people. And everyone notices, however, the strange relationship he has with Reader. The two even kiss one night, but nothing comes of it and they don’t talk about it; in fact, they end up growing distant.

Years pass, Reader returns to the city as a teacher, and Shanks is also a teacher, married to Makino, and they have recently had a child. Reader returns because her brother is a criminal and she wants to understand what’s going on, while she then becomes a point of reference for the students, who look at her with admiration, and old colleagues who remember her strength.

Write a One Piece story set in a modern/school setting, adding READER.

READER is 24 years old but already becomes a teacher and transfers to a new school, shocking her future students because many of them already knew her.

READER arrives in town in mid-June and spends the entire summer pretending to be a new surfer in town. Always smiling and full of charisma, she manages to befriend many people who, in September, she discovers are actually her students. Among these friendships, she forms a special bond with Reiju Vinsmoke: a small summer romance develops between them, though READER always holds back, knowing that everything will change in September. Despite this, Reiju keeps pursuing her, and the two share a summer-long adventure.

READER is physically very strong and extremely skilled in all sports, as she teaches physical education. Her sexuality is well known to everyone: she forms only strong friendships with boys.

She is hired by Shanks because Makino, his wife, is pregnant, and Shanks wants to focus on his family. At first, Shanks asks her to keep her future role as a teacher secret.

During the summer, READER becomes friends with Shakky and Rayleigh, owners of the beach resort. The elderly couple quickly understands why READER keeps an emotional distance in her relationships with girls, including Reiju.

READER also builds relationships with Roger, Rouge, Gaban, and Ripley, friends of Rayleigh and Shakky.

Among her “future students” during the summer are Luffy’s group, Ace, Sabo, Koala, Kid, and Law, as well as the police officers Smoker and Hina.

During the summer, however, her evenings were spent with the students, who had no idea they would become her class.

In September, when READER officially appears as a teacher, the students’ reaction is explosive and full of shock, especially from those who had spent the entire summer with her without suspecting anything.

Monkey D Dragon x reader MODERN AU

A story with a high school setting featuring the One Piece characters (the generation before Luffy) and Reader.

Reader lives with Roger, who adopted her. Shanks and Buggy, who go to high school like Reader, are childhood friends, but Shanks and Reader have a closer relationship and go to class together. Reader wears her hair tied in a ponytail with a red bow. Reader's personality is similar to Luffy and she has his smile. This is because she will be his mother, and so we're telling the love story between Reader and Dragon.

Dragon has left the Marine Academy and finds himself at Reader and Shanks' high school, but in a different class. Once he leaves the academy and the house where he lived with his father, he moves into a small apartment. He has a motorcycle, and before school starts, he visits Roger and Shanks at their house (Reader's house too) because he brings the news that he has left the academy to Roger and Shanks.

For Shanks, Dragon is his older brother. Dragon initially believes that Reader is just a very cute and small girl, but due to or due to school life and otherwise, the two meet several times but never have a real conversation, only many smiles that suggest an understanding that could arise, something that Reader's friends instead realize.

Despite the divorce and the sleeping children, the two fall back into temptation and into the sheets. The fact is that in the morning the reader is gone, only finding a note, and Dragon doesn't call for months. After many years, Luffy is now in his second year of high school. The reader is courted by other men like Katakuri or Thatch, and even begins a relationship, but work (and danger) make Dragon return to the city PERMANENTLY, and so, you know, jealousy, memories, grown-up children, old friendships, parallels, and they end up back together.

Okay, another story because there aren't any with a lesbian reader. The reader is simply a bored shopkeeper on an island ruled by a cowardly mayor who has a MILF wife. The fact is that the Straw Hats, for a series of reasons, want to overthrow the mayor, and in the meantime, they also accidentally meet the reader, a series because, lo and behold, she was coming out of the mayor's estate. A certain admiral in a red suit finds her promising and talented and wants to train her and make her his second/hidden admiral. She accepts because, yes, the guy is strong, even though Garp recognizes her and tells her to be careful, and he trains her too. So she finds herself in the upper echelons of the marines and meets spectacular women: Hina, the two of them often have casual but uncommitted dates; Doll, the reader, and she had basically fallen in love, but before it became official, she returned to Sabaody; Tashigi admires her even though he's a pirate. She's particular with male marines, but who knows how; Smoker and Kizaru are her favorites.

If Luffy is the god of the sun, the reader should be the goddess of the moon, or better yet, SAILOR MOON, and then be SAILOR COSMOS. The reader had a happy childhood as a child. However, the couple were friends with the marines, and Akainu visited them (he was secretly in love with the reader's mother). At a certain point, during Luffy and his crew's time skip, Gorosei, Imu, Figarland, Garling, Garp, Sengoku, Tsuru, Vegapunk, Aokij, Kizaru, and Akainu realize that she embodies the goddess and her power. The World Government wants to sacrifice her so that the Mother Flame (Lulusia's) can be recharged. Still unaware, she is assigned to the SWORD team (Akainu and the other Marines want to protect her). So, for various reasons, she also finds herself in Punk Hazard with Luffy. and Law, where she becomes friends. She had never met Luffy, having only seen him briefly in Marineford during the war. HOWEVER, THE TWO BOND GRADUALLY AND GRADUALLY. SHE EVEN GOES TO WHOLE CAKE ISLAND. BUT THE BEST THING IS THAT During the battle at Onigashima, remember when Luffy falls off the cliff (?) she intercepts him, slaps him, CRIES, then the two say something to each other, and BAM, they kiss. one piece x attack on titan reader

Why isn't anyone writing about a crossover between Attack on Titan and One Piece? I'd like the reader to be Eren's sister, who kills her brother and then, after the rumbling, moves to another island where she meets the One Piece characters. I'd like the Titans to be an experiment or a whim of the World Government, Grisha was a scientist for the World Government, and the Eldians are connected to Nika. The reader could then be part of either a crew, and in my opinion, only the Straw Hats or Shanks, depending on how old she is. Or maybe the reader has the same backstory as Levi Ackerman, and the Ackermans can bond with either someone with a D or a Celestial Dragon, but having an Ackerman is essential to finding the One Piece.
