Do you think I can do a female child reader, where they ate the mouth mouth fruit (idk if it's an actual fruit just go with the flow 😞), the devil fruit makes the user be able make mouth of any size apron there body, they can change the teeth shape if wanted, and can talk out of the mouth, the devil fruit can consume inedible objects and hide the them like a big pocket and not like digesting it, I can just imagine them not feeling well an just throwing up a vacuum or a fridge

“Dokucha, I need you to come out of there so I can help you,” Hongo called out with a sigh.

“I don’t need help, Papa! I’m good!”

“Then why have you found it necessary to hide in a closet?” he deadpanned

“It’s warm and cozy in here.”

“Dokucha, get out,” he ordered as he tried pulling the closet open.

“No, I’m good.”

“Do I need to get Benn?” He warned

“...You won’t!”

“Try me, Dokucha, if you don’t come out at the count of three I am calling him .

“One”

“You’re Lying!” they cried out.

“Two,” he continued

“Uncle is busy!” they tried to reason.

“Three. Alright, I’m going to get Beck,” He called.

Dokucha frowned, hearing the fading footsteps of their father as they tried to make themselves smaller and steel their resolve before the vice Captain made an appearance

They did not have to wait long as soon after the Doctor had left, the door sounded again, and two sets of footsteps followed.

“Dokucha.” Benn’s deep voice rumbled

That was all he needed; just one word was all he needed to convey what he wanted. Dokucha’s only escape at the moment was to try to stall by playing dumb, as it was only a matter of time before Benn managed to get them out. However, it was more than likely that he would manage to get them out with only his words, knowing that they knew that only worse consequences would arise if he had to remove them from the closet forcefully.

“Y-Yes?”

“Enough of this, get out.”

“I really am okay where I am,” they nervously replied

“Out.”

“Yes sir,” they muttered as they did as they were told, sheepishly standing in front of the man, avoiding both his steely gaze and the one from their father who sat ways behind, arms crossed, a frown on his face.

“Look at me.” He called

Hesitantly, Dokucha turned their head to meet his eyes, shoulders up as they tried to shrink themselves.

“Why were you hiding?”

“…”

“Dokucha,” he sighed, crouching down in front of them.

“Listen, I’m not sure why you’re hiding. I don’t know if you think it’s because you’re in trouble or because you’re hiding something, but regardless, you need to let us know.

Yes. There will be consequences if you do what you aren’t supposed to, but ultimately, we just want to know what is wrong so we can help you.”

“Alright?”

“Okey,” they mumbled.

“Mind telling me why you were hiding?”

“I overused my ability again…”

“Dokucha, it’s the third time this week; what’s going on?” Hongo called as he stood up, walking closer

“The kids in the village said my ability was useless, so I stored all their weapons and things in my pocket dimension to show them it wasn't.

“Why are you trying to show off your ability lately?” The Doctor questioned

“Because…”

“Because?” Beckman drawled, raising an eyebrow

“Because I want to show I’m doing as much as you guys!” They cried, causing the men to look at them, shocked at the sudden outburst

“What are you on about?”

“W-well, Papa is a great Doctor and always makes sure everyone is healthy and ready to go; he’s like a wizard! Making all his concoctions for any occasion! Uncle Beckman is the backbone of the whole ship not to mention he has some superb moves.” Dokucha prattled on, using exaggerated hand movements as they praised the officer’s abilities

“But then there’s me... I’m just a glorified purse. All I can do is store things and scare people by making these pop-up,” Dokucha muttered as they extended their hand, watching as a mouth materialized on top of it.

The two men looked at each other as smiles slowly broke on their faces. Hongo let a few snickers out, catching the attention of the child.

“W-Why are you laughing! This is for real!”

“Sorry, Kid, I just found it funny that the most important member of our crew would think that way."

“How am I the most important?! If anything it would be Papa, or you Uncle Beckmann, or-or uncle Lucky he always makes sure we have energy to fight! There’s also Uncle Shanks! He is the Captain and the strongest one, too!”

“What do you think, Boss?” Hongo called out, looking behind him

“You can’t possibly think that Dokucha,” Shanks called with a small, serene smile on his face as he walked into the clinic.

“U-Uncle Shanks?”

“How about this? Can you remind me what our goal is now?” He inquired as he joined Benn in crouching down to be at their level.

“To get the one piece?”

“Yes, and can you remind me what the most important thing we need to get there is?”

“Road Poneglyphs?”

“Good job. One last one, can you tell me who keeps our Road Poneglyphs?”

“I do…” they stated, extending their hand once again and watching as a mouth once again materialized; this time, however, it began to cough, eventually spouting a stack of papers that the child grabbed, showing to the Captain.

“You are our Treasurer, Dokucha; you are the key to our goal. There are a lot of strong people out there; with enough training, anyone could become like us, but you are the only one who can do what you do, So take it from your Captain: you are essential to this crew, or do you believe me to lie?” Shanks questioned

“No Uncle Shanks”

“Atta Kid,” Shanks stated as he ruffled the child’s hair, standing up to allow Hongo to approach them.

“No one can keep our treasure safer than you can.” Hongo started as he picked them up

“Forget about the kids on the village; you are the Treasurer of the Red-haired pirates, so stand tall.”

With teary eyes, she took in all the men and the pride that shone in their eyes as they spoke their words

“Yeah!”

“What did you take from them that made you overuse your ability anyway? There’s no way those kids had weapons in them, and even if they did, it wouldn’t overwhelm your ability.”

“Oh, that reminds me,” Dokucha began as she pulled on their father’s clothes to be let down; he raised an eyebrow and placed them on the floor, watching as a mouth materialized on their stomach and began to cough something out

“C-Chairs?” Shanks Gaped

“And the tables!” Dokucha proudly stated as said items were coughed out from them

“That feels so much better,” they huffed as they stretched.

“Why did you take their tables and chairs?” Beckmann spoke, staring at the furniture wide-eyed that now crowded the clinic

“They made me lose my appetite when they said those things to me, so I made sure they lost theirs too.”

“By taking the place they eat from?”

“Mmmm!”

“Dokucha....,” Hongo sighed, pinching the branch of his nose in frustration

“What? I felt petty!”

“Well, look who is back,” Dokucha called with a smile as she watched the familiar crew walk into the bar.

“I’m guessing your treasure hunt was successful then?” She teased as she began rolling out tankards towards the crew, who threw cheers at the barmaid

“Ready as always, Dokucha,” Yassop called as he took hold of his tankard.

“I can’t let my best customers go thirsty now, could I? Nor hungry,” she called as she passed by his table, dropping a plate of the fish of the current season in front of the man, bordered by a few crustaceans.

“Yahahaha, you actually remembered?!” He called as he took one of the crustaceans and plopped it in his mouth

“Of course!” She grinned, throwing the man a wink as she dropped a plate of chicken meat to the man sharing Yassop’s table

“Din’t forget about you, Lucky Dear.”

"Jajaja! Thank you Dokucha!"

“At your service.”

“What about you two gentlemen?” She teased as she pulled out two glasses for the men who sat at the bar

“Willing to take a risk with me again?” She asked as she began to mix drinks in front of them

“Dahahaha! You always manage to hit the mark with your drinks, Dokucha!” Shanks cackled as he nodded his head toward the woman.

She shook her head as she let out a giggle at his usual overexcited attitude as he looked towards his first mate.

“What about you, Beck? Up for the challenge?”

“For you, Darlin’ always.”

“Alright!” she exclaimed as she continued mixing drinks, occasionally stopping to blend fruits to add to them.

“And here you go!” she said, sliding a green drink to the Captain, topped with a couple of Kiwi. To the vice-captain, she slid a glass with golden liquid, topped by a lone cherry as a garnish.

“What are they?” Beckmann questioned, taking a small sip of the drink

“Oh! It’s sake?!” Shanks beams as he tastes his own drink

“Yes! It’s a Caipisake! I know you always say there is no better drink than the one in East Blue. So I present to you the traditional and most famous drink in the Goa kingdom: a cocktail with a base of sake.” she babbled out as she gestured to the fruity cocktail.

“Beck, I made you a Manhattan. It has a base of Black rum, which has a smokey flavor since I noticed you tend to enjoy those more.”

“I taste a sweet undertone,” he called, glancing up at her.

“Mmhm! That would be the sweet vermouth.” She gushed.

“Dokucha, you have got to sail on the Red Force with us; I can’t possibly survive the rough sea without your brew. Here, I thought sake would be enough for me, but sweetcheeks, you have a knack for changing a man!” Shanks proclaimed as he swirled his glass and downed it

“Despite his overdramatic, he is not wrong, Darlin’. Every time we come, you make something different, and every time, I leave with a new favorite,” Beck spoke, ignoring the protests and whines the redhead threw his way.

“I-It’s nothing; it would be bad if I couldn’t do this much,” she said, a meek smile on her face, as she continued to continue drinks and food to the crew, blind to the knowing glances the men shared between them.

She frowned, watching as Luffy ran off, not paying attention to her. Regardless, she continued walking, approaching the pier and the man who sat on it.

“May I ?” She asked, gesturing to the now empty spot beside him, filling it once she had received a small nod from the first mate.

“That went horribly wrong,” he sighed, letting out a puff of smoke.

“I believe it went as good as it could have gone.” she corrected, gazing back towards the sea before them.

“With Luffy storming off once again?” he gaped, turning to look at her.

“Come on, Beck, you have been with him long enough. Luffy is Luffy; your words won’t reach him instantly; he needs time for the words to reach him in his own way at his own time.”

“I’m not sure they will this time,” he called, gesturing towards the mountain Luffy had disappeared too.

“You think he will be able to forgive the boss?”

“I know he will. His emotional intelligence is quite high for such a young boy. He reminds me of you in that way,” she grinned, making her way in front of the man as she kneeled down and took hold of his hands, much to his shock.

“Thank you, Beckmann, for always watching over my nephew and for being such a kind soul; I know this situation with Uta has been hard on you too, so thank you because, despite your pain, you still are trying to help others.”

“You’re killing me here, Darlin, he called as he gingerly grasped her hand, placing a small kiss on it, his signature cigarette now long gone.

“I made a mistake.” He sighed

Shanks had just returned from Elegia just hours before and to say that he was heartbroken was an understatement. So much had occured in so little time, he had to fight his own daughter who under the control of the music demon had ravaged trough the town. Ultimately, after he and his crew had managed to defeat it, he decided to leave Uta behind, taking the blame for the destruction of the town.

“It’s not an easy situation,” she started, slightly smiling as she continued drying her glassware.

“But I would go back. AH. Ah.” She tutted, putting a finger up as she noticed Shanks’ attempt to interrupt.

“Shanks. You made a choice a decade ago; you could have chosen to find her a different home and leave the chest with someone else that day. But you chose to parent her instead; you took the responsibility, and so now you keep that responsibility.” she scolded, by now having left the safety of the bar as she stood in front of the man to take her point across

“I know you think this is what’s best for her, but is it really? You just left her behind and had someone tell her, ‘Oh yeah, the people who have cared for you your whole life and who you admire deeply just destroyed, ransacked the town, and left you, sorry! But don’t worry, I’ll make you the greatest singer!” she rambled, her voice taking a higher pitch as she imitated the mayor’s voice.

“Dokucha, she has a dream. I cannot keep her from achieving it by keeping her tied to the crew,” he frowned, looking away from the mixologist.

“How is her being with her family tying her down? Had she asked to leave the crew, would you have stopped her?”

“No-

“No! If she wishes to leave, she can make that decision herself, Shanks. She is a child, a very loved one. So Yes, of course, she won’t leave her family regardless of her dream right now, she’s 12, but kids grow up and independentize, and they should do so with the support of their family. She should not be following her dream on a far-off island with some old man, thinking that her family left her behind whilst destroying the town of that said old man!”

“Dokucha i-

“Answer me this: do your crewmates not have their own dreams they are trying to achieve?” She questioned ignoring the man’s attempt to step in

“They do, each of them does, but it is not the same.”

“But it is,” she answered softly, putting one of her hands on his cheek to get his attention.

“A crew can have dreams while being on the crew, just like their Captain does; they reach those dreams with their family, their crew. None of them have given up on their dream, and you would never ask that of them; rather, you do everything in your power to support them, don’t you? That’s what Uta needs.”

He stared at her for a while, eventually leaving out a scoffed laugh as he shook his head. He had been sure of his decisions Days prior as he believed that leaving Uta behind following the rise of Tot Musica would be the best for both of them. It would keep his daughter safe and it would enable her to finally go after her lifelong dream but after hearing the point of view of an outsider his previous decision definitely seemed….stupid.

“Thank you, Dokucha, I will, I will get my daughter back,” he stated

“But you know I’ve never seen this side of you; you have always been so sweet-spoken, never took you for the bossy type,” he teased.

Her face flushes at his words as she backs away from him, putting her hands on her face as if to make herself invincible.

“T-Th- I ju- I just wanted to make my point!” she sputters out.

“Mmhm,” he hums, resting his hand on the bar counter as he leans his cheek on, watching the woman try to compose herself.

“R-Regardless! Luffy is here, s-so get yourself together,” She grumbled.

You know how child!Dokusha often ends up in places she shouldn't be? I think that most of the characters would be understanding of the childs curiosity, while others would scold them for not sitting put.

For example child! Dokusha as mihawks child would get scolded by their father alot for it but he understands that children will be children and be curious. Also the more you tell kids to not do something the more they do it

I feel like shanks would be A father that also let's his crew be fathers. Personally I love the idea that lucky roo is a amazing babysitter, I don't know why

Dokucha grinned, realizing the room they had sneaked into was the armory. Their eyes shined in excitement as they examined all the weapons in the room, hopping, crawling, and sneaking around the glittering artifacts until a specific one called their attention.

Grinning, they climbed down from the small ledge they had climbed to take a peek at a bow; they approached the familiar weapon, lips slightly parted in awe as they stood in front of the sword.

"No way…" they muttered gingerly touching the handle of the sword as thoughts raced through their mind.

"It's so beautiful…the best quality leather in the market wrapped on the handle with a lapis lazuli encrusted on the pummel," they muttered, eyeing the large jewel and rubbing the leather, shivering at the supple, slightly grainy texture.

"A half-a-meter gold hand-carved guard with jade and tanzanite on the quillon and the Ricasso," they gushed, eyes twinkling in amazement as their hand lowered to the body of the sword

"A black blade; it could have been his haki, but maybe it was forged like this, put in heat time after time to get such a beautiful obsidian color, and they even added hand-carving to its fuller."

"And it's-

"Not yours to he touching." A stern voice cut in, taking a firm but gentle hold of their hand as it began inching toward the edge of the blade

"Ah! Dad! What are you doing here? " they yelled, their eyes wide as they jumped back from the man, arms now crossed on his chest as he stared them down.

"That is hardly the question here, isn't it?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow, watching as the child began to fidget and look away from the man, trying to put their sight on anything but him.

"I just ended up here; I was going to leave….but then I saw you, and I got a lil distracted."

Mihawk stared at the child, his frown softening until he let out a chuckle. A rare amused smile grew on his face, though he was quick to erase it.

"You know you are not supposed to be here, " he chided, shaking his head as he took hold of his sword. His amusement grew as the move instantly caught the attention of the child.

"However, I will forgive it this time since I see you have been keeping up with your readings," he called, glancing at them; he noticed this caused their attention to switch to him, placing Yoru in its rightful place behind him.

"How about I teach you some hands-on lessons on the art of the swords?" He suggested turning around and making his way out of the room

"Yes!" They hollered, scrambling to follow after the man

"Oi, have you found them yet?!" Hongo called, his voice echoing across the deck, and various negative responses echoed back, much to his annoyance.

"Commander Hongo, do you think they might have followed Shanks out of the ship?" A crewmember questioned, scratching his neck as he looked around the deck for the child

"No, they're a rascal, but they know the consequences won't be light if they leave the Force without permission; they know better," Hongo huffed out.

"This would be so much easier if Yassop were here; he's the only one that can bypass their presence masking," he muttered, calling out to the crewmates to continue their search as he joined them.

"Ha! That's right! Without Uncle Yassop here, they have no chance!" They snickered from below them as they hid on the gun's deck, browsing through the different weapons that were kept alongside the canons

"Oh! They keep the grenades here! Sweet!" They cheered, grabbing the small sphere with a mischievous grin on their faces, until a hand grabbed it from their hands, causing them to shoot up.

"U-Uncle Roo!" they gaped, watching the grinning back as he put the grenade back where they had found it.

"Ha! Ha! That's true, but you still have to find a good hiding spot if you don't want the rest of us to find you," he called teasingly

"You're not supposed to be here," he stated, letting out a small laugh as they just looked away.

"You can't sneak here every time he leaves; you know we are going to find you."

"…are you goin' To tell Dad?"

"Hm, I could! But I could also cut you a deal," he snickered, taking a bite from the usual chicken leg on his hand.

"Deal?"

"You finish your chores, and I won't tell him."

"Ugh!"

Dokucha Stills at the powerful presence, turning around to spot a red-haired man with a serious expression on his scarred face, similar expressions mirrored on the men behind him.

"Rays of sunshine, the lot of you, aren't you?" They questioned nervously

"Did you burn the Flag?" The man questioned, ignoring their joking statement

"Flag? Buddy, I'm not sure what you're on about."

"That's not what the villagers seemed to say when asked. Everyone said the same thing 'It was the carrying a staff, one that fits the description of the one you are carrying," Hongo piped in, glancing at them and said items

"It could have been someone else carrying a staff. Did you think of that?" They frowned when their jest was received by the first mate pointing his riffle their way

"Stop messing around."

"Alright, Alright, gee, all this over a flag, was it?"

"It might seem like just a flag to you, but that flag provides safety to not only this village but others as well. If I let them get desecrated like this, allies and friends would become targets."

Their eyes harden at his words as they begin to understand the severity of the situation

"I apologize; I was not aware how important this flag was; regardless, I was not lying; I have not burned any flags."

"Are you saying that the dozens of people that pointed us your way are lying?"

"I'm saying that they were wrong, and you are fools to assume the first person to closely meet that description is the person you're looking for; I mean, all you got is the description of a staff, for all you know, someone could have borrowed-" they stopped their rambling as they purse their lips a realization hitting them ,something that was not lost to Shanks

"I didn't burn your flag," they repeated

"But you know who did."

"..."

"You can either tell us now, or we can drag you with us as we find out who It was; we will find eventually," Benn spoke as he lowered his rifle

Dokucha sent a scowl their way, muttering curses under their breath, relaxing after a second and glancing at the men standing in front of them

"Just... a promise must be made that you will not harm them."

"I apologize, but given the circumstances, I cannot promise that; as I said, many people depend on that flag, and the act of burning it down is not only an act against me but of my allies."

"You will understand when you see them; you will also want to avoid violence."

"As I said, I cannot promise anything."

"Just follow me," they sighed, only to be stopped by the sniper as he extended his hands toward them

"We will hold onto that," he said, gesturing to their staff

"Absolutely not!" they growled, holding the staff away from him

"It wasn't a request," Shanks spoke as he approached the two

"We are giving you the benefit of the doubt and not treating you as the culprit of this, but we cannot leave you armed."

"There better not be a single splinter out of place when I get it back," they growl, shoving the staff on Yassop's awaiting hands, who just throws her a grin

"If you do get it back."

"Yo-

"Let's go." Shanks orders, grabbing them by the forearm and pulling them forward as they made their way farther from the village

"Why do you live so far from the village?" Hongo questioned after they had made their way closer to a cottage set apart from the rest of the village

"That's hardly any of your business," they mutter as they unlock the front door once Shanks released his grip on them

"Normally, I would say get comfortable, but I really don't ca-

Their words are promptly interrupted as crashing sounds echoe above them, a scowl growing on their face as the sounds continued

“What is that?” Questioned Limejuice

“That,” they began kicking a nearby bean chair forward

“Is the sound of me being wrong” they finished watching as a child fell seemingly out of nowhere and into the Bean chair

“Han,” they called with a frown on their face

“Hi…” she greeted, a nervous smile on her face

“What did you do?”

“I didn’t do anything…”

“Don’t give me that,” they growled, pinching the child’s cheek

“Here I thought Holl was behind this, but it was you, wasn’t it?

“Ow! That hurts! Listen, I just wanted a little payback; these guys always take the credit for your hard work! You are the one protecting this village, not them! I just wanted to ruffle it a little, maybe burn off a few corners How was I supposed to know that it would fire like that?! Everyone started freaking out, so I started freaking out, and I ran!” She cried

They glare at her for a moment longer before they let out a sigh and ruffled her head

“I told you before I care not for recognition, not to mention I hardly did much; just scared off a guy or two; so there is no payback to get”

“But it’s not fair…

“….we’ll talk about this later okay?”

She gives them a nod as she nervously glance at the pirates, who by now had stood and watched the exchange in silence

“Are they going to hurt me?” She whispers

“No, don’t worry about a thing. Your big sibling has this, okay? Can you go prepare Holl something to eat? I'm sure they are hungry.”

They watch the girl nod and scamper

“Well, looks like I am guilty after all,” they sigh

“Our problem is with the kid; she burned the flag; she is the one we have business with.”

“No, your business is with me. That child is under my care, so any kind of retaliation you have to make against the burning of a piece of cloth is done against me, not him.”

Shanks's eyes narrow at their words, the frown on his face growing deeper

“Oi, oi, piece of cloth?!” One of the officers growled

“Is that not what it is? Despite what it stands for, at the end of the day, it is a piece of cloth that just happened to be destroyed under the hands of a child.”

“Yo-

“Dokucha!!” The pirate’s response is quickly cut off as a new voice cuts in as they barge the way into the small cottage

“Dokucha! It’s Holl!”

“What happened?”

“They had another accident; we need your help; they are in a really bad state,” the young man pants out his breaths ragged due to what they could assume was a run all the way to the cottage

Dokucha’s eyes widen at the news

“Han! Come here! We need to go now!” They called As they make a move to follow the man out, only to be stopped by a scabbard; following it Dokucha finds the sheath to be from the Captain

“What the hell are you doing?! Move!” they cried, pushing against the weapon, surprised to find that they could not move it despite it being held by a single hand.

“This matter has not been resolved; the burning of the flag is not something I will take lightly especially when it was done as an act against us”

“We can resolve this once I ensure my siblings are alive and well!”

“Then we will go as well; I will not take the chance of you leaving without your comeuppance for what has happened here.”

“I can only transport myself and another person,” they said, gesturing to Little Han at their side

“Walking will take far too long. I‘m telling you, I just want to help my sibling. Once their safety is assured, then I will return. You have my word.”

“Your word hardly means anything to me.”

“Please,” they begged

Shanks watched as they lowered themselves to the ground in a kneel as they begged; the person who was making but a mockery of the flag and the meaning behind it mere seconds ago was now at his feet

“I am begging you, Red hair. My word might not mean anything, but it is all I have; allow me to save my sibling, and then I will return and receive any punishment you deem equal to the destruction of the flag. Just please let me go save them.”

Shanks remains quiet until he extends the staff to them

“She stays; one of my men will go with you instead,” he finally decides

“Tha-

“That is as far as I will go,” he said, interrupting what surely was an attempt to refuse

“Dokucha, it’s okay, I ‘ll stay,” Han speaks as she broke apart from them, taking a step back and closer to the Captain

“It’s my fault this is happening, so please let me do this.”

Dokucha stares at the girl with a frown on their face as they finally make a decision, turning toward her

“I‘ll be back okay? Everything will be okay,” they promise

“I know everything will be okay, because you are here.”

“Hongo, go with them,” Shanks calls

“Aye, Boss”

Shanks holds onto the staff tighter as they make a move to grab it

“Don’t do anything both of us will regret,” he warned as he released his grip, watching as they bowed their head and made their way out, watching as both them and his doctor disappeared before them

Sleeping Techniques (Shanks x gn!child!reader x Beckman)

A/N: ya’ll I COOKED , prepared for the feelings to hit you, I need them on my life 😭. I wanted to add more Uncle Beck but do not worry as there will be next time 🫦 . 🐼 💕 that request you gave me, my dear the ideas are flowinggg! Maybe instead of a series we could do like different snippets of Dracule!Reader on interesting scenes?

“Uncle Beck! Uncle Beck, Papa’s being silly again!” Reader exclaims

“What’d he doing this time?” Benn asks as he takes the cigarette from between his lips and holds it on his hand.

“He’s trying to beat Uncle Yassop in a sniping game.”

“And how’s that going for him?”

“Ummm…papa’s doing his best”

He snorts, a small bit of smoke coming from his nostrils as he does. He takes a pull on the cigarette and then stubs it out. Then turns to the small child next to him.

“Come here,pup.”

They smile, stretching their arms towards him

He picks them up without a second thought and holds them close, smiling softly at them as he does.

“Uncle Beck?”

“Yes, pup?”

“Im tired.”

“Well, you should get some rest. Can’t have you falling asleep around the crew; they might think you’re lazy.” He says with a wink.

“What’s this? Is Little Reader tired?”

“Papa!”

“It’s hard keeping up with you these days. You move so fast.” Shanks smiles and puts his hand on their head

“I’ll be taking over Uncle Beck’s shift. Up we go,” he said as he slowly picked her up from his mate’s hands

“Bye-bye, Uncle Beck!” They said, waving from over their father's shoulders

“See ya, little pup,” he says as they walk away, smiling softly as he does

“And down you go!” he says, dropping them into the bed

They giggle as the impact causes them to bounce on the bed repeatedly

“Now, sleep,” he said as he pulled the covers over them

They grin, slipping the covers off them and standing up, beginning to jump on the bed

“Nope!”

Shanks chuckles

“Oh dear. You’re a handful,” he says, joining them on the bed as he grabs their hands and starts tickling them

“Come on”

Pearls of laughter escape them as they try to escape his fingers, wriggling around vigorously.

Shanks laughs as he rolls over with them, wrapping his arm around their back, holding them tight as he continues to tickle them

“Come on, stop struggling now.” He laughs again

“Never!”

“Oh really now?” he laughs

“In that case, I’ll have to use my favorite technique.”

Shanks rolls over and pins them, leaning his head down and blowing into their belly as they squirm underneath him

A high-pitched squeal escapes them

“I give up, Papa!”

Shanks laughs

“It always works. My strongest technique!” he says as he stops tickling them, still chuckling

They lay there for a while, Shanks staring at them with a gentle smile as they slowly recovered from his attacks, breaths still ragged.

Shanks strokes their hair, still smiling.

"You're a little devil, you know that?" he says softly.

They grin and nod.

“I ‘m a cute devil!”

Shanks chuckles lightly

“Well, this cute little devil needs to go to sleep,” he said, tucking them in once again and sitting next to them, petting their head gently.

“I love you,” they say tiredly, eyes heavy

Shanks smiles sweetly as they begin to fall asleep.

“And I love you too my little devil,” he says, still gently stroking their hair.

Nah cause now I need Ben!Reader 🥹 The ideas started flowing with Shanks!Reader too, sister Uta and brother Luffy?? Uncle Yassop??
