The Other Bennet Sister was such a good show! I finished it in one day!!!! I love Mary’s character development; I find her personality rather endearing and insightful!

I also love Mrs. Gardiner as well! I believe she carries herself with such grace and I love the advice she gives to Mary. She was truly a positive mother figure that Mary needed. Her relationship with her husband and their children was heartwarming!

Obviously I wasn’t aware until recently; the show was based on the novel The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Harlow which reinterprets Mary Bennet life from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Lol it’s ok anon, it made me laugh a bit ngl. For that then I give a genuine answer:

I don’t know. I can think of reasons but generally? I really don’t know.

My main reason for being alive atm is to help others, to be there for my loved ones, both friends and family, even when I’m doing a shit job at doing a lot of other things or maintaining myself. I try to justify existence with what I can provide and help uplift rather than focus on how I drag myself and potentially others down.

Fandoms definitely help. I badly want to know how a show ends, or further how a fanfic or au of that show ends. Kind of need to be alive in order to see that.

These sign blogs also tie into that. I don’t want to just leave you guys up in the air if I can help it, I get joy out of you guys and the signs shared. It’d suck for these blogs to get abandoned (I don’t have another person running the blog with me and I also am not expecting anyone to actually take on these gimmick blogs if I’m not around lol).

Then smaller stuff, getting to do or experience smaller nicer things. Food. I love baking and cooking. I like drawing and painting. I like feeling the warm sun after being inside and cold. I like making stupid jokes and puns. I want to keep having fun liking stuff. Can’t do that effectively if I’m not around.

My POV pretty much the entirety of watching The Other Bennet Sister:

look, it was adorable. I loved it! I enjoyed the romances for Mary and watching her come into her own and watching cute grins on cute boys and all that

But what I really cared about was the Gardiners. I love them. I love their children. I love how much they love each other (and Mary!)

Every time they were onscreen, I was watching them.
